Wanna ask your opinions.

If S4 comes out with the exynos 5, 1080p display, etc etc. Everything about the hardware specs is good and top class, but uses Tizen(Samsung's own OS) instead of Android, would you still get it?
*
The chances that this will happen is nearly zero bro.. they wont follow Nokia footstep..

Unless the Tizen can access playstore and use android apps, then it will be different story. wink.gif

LOL. They already developing Tizen la. It's nearly complete. But i dont think it will be out for S4, maybe S5. They're gonna use Tizen for their smartphones starting next year. But dont know they will use it for their flagship smartphones or not only..
*
90% they wont use it on their flagship phone... lol...

As you can see Bada OS.. they also use on cheaplak phone only.. I think Tizen will same like Bada? brows.gif

As you see Windows also very hard to catch up.. dont say Tizen..

Unless they use Tizen on their Flexible screen technology + smart phone.. then it will be very interesting... drool.gif

SME and AP both are original phones. None of them are fake phones or china phones.. The difference is SME, is by Samsung Malaysia and regarding warranties or what Samsung Malaysia will handle them.. and for AP, it's phones from other countries. Meaning let's say AP phone from UK, then the warranties or what will be handled by Samsung UK and not Samsung Malaysia. That's why if buy SME phone, warranty by samsung malaysia and if you buy AP phone, warranty will be by the seller and not samsung malaysia..
*
owh.. i see i see.. that's the answer i looking for. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Good night! tongue.gif

Thanks but what I really want to know is the 32GB at the same risk of sudden death as the 16GB version ??
*
I think it will suffer the same risk...

Because not many people using 32gb.. therefore the probability SDS will happen of course is much more lower... even though SDS happens on 32gb user but they might not report in XDA also.. in my opinion la.. hehe wink.gif

LOL... your phone zombified... shakehead.gif

Best Solution: Backup all your things and do a factory reset. tongue.gif

Factory reset can give you a smoother phone as well.

My daily usage is wifi only, no gps or auto sync etc... Mostly fb checking mails and playing games

My brightness is always lowest

I also notice that my phone isn't that smooth and fast, quite laggy at times esp when I open the phone calls log, it takes a while to see the names of callers load, instead it's just the phone numbers listed

So sad,my ipad2 is faster...  I tot s3 performance better than apple
*
If your usage only Wifi, no gps and only facebook, check mail + play games. Then ipad should be sufficient for you. Why you want to get S3 at the first place? rclxub.gif

1. Ipad battery life is awesome. Can last for at least 2-3 days even you torture it..
2. Apple got more games than Android.
3. Ipad is better on Check mail, bigger screen, bigger keyboard.

"S3 performance better than apple" this statement is depends on user. For novice user, Apple is a better choice.

Kthxbye

Hey I am not sure which phone to buy,
The samsung Galaxy s3 or Samsung Galaxy Note 2..
Btw, does the S3 lags?
*
Most of the Girl i know loves Note II.. But I dont understand why.. shakehead.gif

But I guess you love Note II too right? tongue.gif

As compared S3 and Note II, note II have better performance and I can say is lag free, because it have 2GB RAM, while S3 only got 1 GB RAM..

so depends on your usage, sometimes I still can feel slightly lag while gaming / multitasking on S3...

But I use my friend Note II is superb smooth.. lag free experience.. So if your budget got no problem I suggest you go for Note II. smile.gif

If anyone is using the Screen Off and Lock app, does it work if you long press the menu key to turn off off and lock the screen? I am looking for a way to do that without using the power button. Any other small app that can do similarly? Stock set with no rooting. Thanks.
*
QUOTE(alantch @ Jan 17 2013, 08:01 AM)
I know that, but I want to use the Menu button instead of the icon. I tried setting the sequence up with Tasker, but is getting nowhere.
*
Why must press menu button?? lol.. rclxub.gif

Just get this screen lock button.. best among others so far.. no flickering or re-on problem.. but sad case.. not much people know about this apps.. even though its far more better than other famous screen lock apps.. which have various problems. sweat.gif
