I am a S3 user, and recently I notice my wake lock are more frequent and battery drained faster, so I installed "Better Battery Stat" to monitor my phone status.
And I found that this "AudioOut_2" appeared on partial wakelock very frequently.
When I googled this issue, I notice that many device such as Note2 and S2 are having this issue as well. Please check your phone whether have this wakelock.
So I suspect device on JellyBean will have this problem?
I cant find any solution. Anyone found the solution for this? Please share with me. Thanks =)btw, I'm running on 4.1.1 stock rom

I tried this from Comment 70, but not works for me.. http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=23105 - Go into your phone settings -> accessibility - Turn talkback on, select "settings" from the bottom of the page - Switch off all the talkback checkboxes - Then switch talkback off again - Go back into phone settings -> application manager - Choose the "all" tab - Find google text to speech (tts), click on it and click "disable" - Find samsung test to speech, click on disable

disable your touch sound and screenlock sound ........ Most of the audioout wakelocks are caused by those 2 culprits .... AudioOut_1 , AudioOut_2 and AudioOut_3 .

My phone is 100% mute. No sound. But still got this problem. Because the duration of wake up is not too long although the number of wake up is high, i decide to ignore this problem. Not really draining my juice

For my case, I believe it is Google+ and Yahoo! Mail (which I already set non-sync and non-notification) that cause my Note II from deep sleep. They cause my Note II running at 200MHz and awake 100% with around 1.5% battery drain per hour. I need to force close them (every time after boot) in order to make my Note II deep sleep to enjoy 0.3% battery drain per hour. So it would be a 5x impact. Share your cases.

Facing this issue as well. It seems to be affected by large number of programs. There a temperory fix that I found on XDA If you have Viber, Go Settings Set It To System Settings Ringtone. Or uninstall it. Well I guess its trial and error for everyone. I'm trying this now will post back if it work ^^
