I have a problem here. When I turn off mobile data for few hours or few days, and turn it back on, the data won't run. I have to restart the phone and problem solved.
Why is that so?
you don't need to reboot the phone, the fastest way is by switching on and off the airplane mode.
Thanks for your prompt reply. I will try it out. But why such problem? My girlfriend's SGN2 also having such issue.
Sometimes my Sony Xperia S is also behaving like that. The trick i mentioned can't be used on Xperia S, only must reboot the phone. I'm occasionally facing this issue too with my Note 2 but really rare. btw I'm on Maxis too.
huh, sorry, so do you mean you just download it from sammobile, then flash it via mobile odin, then it will unroot your phone and the counter will go back to 0? means like a brand new phone without any flaw?
The story was like this. I rooted my phone last week when it was 4.1.1 using the ExynosAbuse exploit and I checked the counter was still 0 but my Status was Modified so I can't update using OTA method.
Then I downloaded the latest Malaysia 4.1.2 firmware via Sammobile link this morning and the only way to update it is through Mobile Odin Pro. Before doing the upgrading I have backup my EFS (just for insurance). So I updated the new firmware using Mobile Odin Pro by enabling all the EverRoot Options. After the installation was done, I check the Status of my phone and I was surprise that it stated as Normal and to confirm I try OTA and it responded that I have the latest software update instead of can't updated due to Modified status....
Mine is SME set from Maxis.

All, I read this happening before, but coz I started using the hotspot feature these few days, I see that when I get a call on the phone, the data connection goes off, and my wifi from the notebook shows disconnected.
So would this be fault of the radio or fault of maxis?
