Oh..so the maps is like 3d navigation gps? coz when i open it just like google maps only..no 3D sign.
*
Ok... here is the thing, if you have data / wifi connection then use Google Maps, or Waze, if you do not have network connection, better use offline maps (papago)

Google maps need to use with Navigation apps (preinstalled)
But u need to follow these steps here first

i tested my 3G HSDPA connection

full bars with it reading H+ only getting slightly over 2Mbps when normally its about 4Mbps.

i'm located near Menara Maxis so i think here should have the best signal =.=

sucks
*
H+ and H got any difference?

which telco you are using?  if DiGi, then it is normal. yawn.gif  I only know Malaysia got H+ after i sign up Maxis data plan for my wife's previous S3.  Since that day, i vow to ditch DiGi after my contract ended. Now I am back to Maxis, H+ at most of the places in Johor Bahru.  thumbup.gif

within 1 year i have jumped a few telcos

was with Maxis > Digi (cheaper but lousy connection and dropped calls) > Umobile (faster than digi sometimes, always reliable 2G Celcom backbone to fallback on, but switching from 2G -> 3G takes nearly 2 millenia) > back to maxis and loving it  icon_idea.gif
*
ohh... ic ic... damn lousy Digi... nvm as long it is cheap can connect at Hsdpa can liao laugh.gif

just don;t switch off mobile data in the first place

Reach home, turn on both wifi and data, so if wifi no connection you will connect with data.  tongue.gif

Not really sure cos my data is always on except at night when i sleep.
*
Turn on both? isnt it drain more juice while keep searching the wifi connection? and when using wifi connection, will the data also running?

And i quite confuse, in tasker there is a variable for Wifi Status... and got some other setting for wifi connection alone, like If connected, reconnect, etc... but dunno how to use

when wifi is on and connected, i believe data is automatically disabled, no? or it still runs like in the background
*
No lor, thats why i add another exit task for it. Wifi on, off data. but the thing is, when it nearby the cell location, it will on wifi regardless i connected to wifi or not , it will goes off my data...

gsm cell location is the most saving method to detect location but it lack of accuracy... so enable your wifi then it will pin point your exact location when it detect the wifi assigned ap signal...  nod.gif

once the wifi connected the 3g data will automatically disable, nothing so call double data line on at the same time...  icon_idea.gif

enable the NFC chip will also drain battery... nothing is free ok...  doh.gif

Ehm... It is there, on the toggle bar there show mobile data in green color but no H icon appear, only wifi connected icon appear, so thats what u mean it does not run on data but run on wifi connection right?

wah sei... soon all phones are gonna come out at least 5' screen... Last time i remember right Dell Steak is also 5' big screen but not selling very well until Note 1 came out. So is 5' big screen consider a phablet ? or bigger than 5.3 inch classified as phablet lol? If rumour is true, Note 3 really gonna be big to look diff than others lol..

btw, Xperia Z looks promising.. http://www.gsmarena.com/xperia_z_leaks_aga...n-news-5290.php
