QUOTE(zerohunter @ Jan 8 2013, 12:03 AM) Thanks for the feedback. Battery is a huge issue for me. I finally kinda fixed it after changing to Romow. Yeah, I do think DLL5 drains quite a lot of battery. Now feel much better on DLL7. |

Damn curiosity kills. 10 more minutes and I'm ready for ARHD. Evil custom ROM.

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 8 2013, 12:35 AM) How come you are not leading simply an awesome life anymore aaa? Only "quite" an awesome life? Counting too many ROMs, RAMs in your sleep? As I grow older, I tend to frown a lot.Hence, the quite an awesome life kicks in. This post has been edited by fruitie: Jan 8 2013, 12:38 AM |

ARHD is not up to my liking, keyboard doesn't have the symbols and no nice blue colour.
I have performed Nandroid backup before flashing to ARHD, can I just restore my Nandroid? Anyway I was just on Romow for 1 day, so no big difference. Will flash back to Romow. |

QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Jan 8 2013, 08:58 AM) agreed. ROMOW seems to be quite ok though it has way more junk than monx. Which junks that you meant? i selected the junk free version but still, junk-loaded. So are you on monx now? Any issue? QUOTE(breonwei @ Jan 8 2013, 09:02 AM) Users from India reported 4.1.2 is causing Note II with wifi issue (very slow wifi speed, not able to connect to any wifi) No such issue for me. Any early adopters here with such issue? thx From someone from 4.1.1 to leaked 4.1.2 and now official 4.1.2. QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Jan 8 2013, 09:31 AM) No complaints here... Yeah me too, after I'm on Romow I can't be bothered with my battery life anymore. So long it drains reasonably, I can accept it and enjoy my phone peacefully. rather than trying to keep extending the battery life, i rather play more games, use more of the phone, surf more internet and download more stuff since the battery easily doubles what i can do with my previous iphone. Trivia : the pop-up browser window size is nearly wider than the normal iphone screen size! This post has been edited by fruitie: Jan 8 2013, 10:07 AM |

QUOTE(alexng2208 @ Jan 8 2013, 10:40 AM) junks like samsung apps.. I ticked on custom installation, and chose whatever that I don't want. bloatware. although i ticked the no-bloatware option (and also all the extra stuff like VPN la, this la that la, ext4 lar), those normal bloatwares still come out so i deleted it via titaniumbackup. i'm on romow. happy camper here and its feeling good. missing the normal samsung notification toggles (which i like very much for its simplicity) amd also monx's white themed toggles, i can live with this! how to enable / check the Bravia engine thingamabob? i selected it during installation I kinda like the fancy toggles. Actually, I did ask the Sony Bravia question here but nobody has answered me because I guess nobody knows how to answer that. I have just joined XDA and still not allowed to post on that section, if you are eligible, please post this question on Romow thread. Thanks. QUOTE(waveweaver @ Jan 8 2013, 11:44 AM) Wah after owning this phone for nearly 3 months, I think I still gain. I paid for RM 2150 - white SME unit. My sister who bought exactly a month after me, paid RM 2100 for her grey SME unit. Good that we didn't wait for the price to drop. |

QUOTE(kevintth @ Jan 8 2013, 11:50 AM) Oh, so now no need to root then can disable the sound already?i didn't know that. I'm already on custom ROM for quite some time. QUOTE(nutella @ Jan 8 2013, 11:51 AM) Kies is however infamous for this issue.Either you wait or you use PC Odin to manually flash it. |

Romow is kinda good.
5H30M with 25m SOT, from 100% to 86% now. Earlier was using BT headset to listen to online radio and my WhatsApp group chat is non-stop coming in. What is the difference of DLK5 and DLK7? Mine is DLK7 though. This post has been edited by fruitie: Jan 8 2013, 02:44 PM |
