I have a quick question on the K&N air filter ...

Last week my workshop while servicing my car he took out the K&N filter and tried to clean it with the compressed air ... attempting to clean it i assume ...

Then i saw the oil being blow out ... i didnt realy checked it and didnt strike me at that time that the oil is suppose to be there for a reason ...

I am gonna check later if he blown any hole into it or not but now i am concerned if the lack of oil can affect the filter ...

Should get the recharge kit and top up the oil back or should i clean and re-oil it entirely ..

I think the mechanic didn't see the STOP sign sticker and think this is regular filter and simply blow it with air gun

sigh ... my city 3yr plus liao and my petrol consumption keep droping like crazy. dunno for what reason. now per full tank pure city driving only can give me abt 300km. thats like wira quality nia. using k&n, nvr service outside from honda before. i get a feeling its got someting to do with my gearbox .. its so sluggish

if you planning to do 100k service @ honda SC, pls share the cost and details ya.. 

any1 ? or just let me know what kind of bulbs our car use for the headlights, and also the engine oil spec.
HC3 already dead ? heard the founder and owner already sold his car and moved oversea, that's why the club went inactive.

anyway i used to follow the postings in the forum last time, but that time the car is not owned by me, so i cant make any of those mods you guys did to your cars. but now my mom passed the car to me, but the forum went dead, so I went to HCOC instead, another city club. but that club focused on all honda city models and range, not as good as what HC3 did last time
try installing voltage stabilizer + grounding cable, will solve the gear sluggish problem. i recommend the one from erictioh, just search his name and you will find his vs and gc thread. RM170 for vs and RM110 for gc.

Change Spark Plugs cost me RM480...
Full flushed of gear oild cost me about RM100..
Engine Oil.. Castrol Magnetec about RM100

Hehe... Actually I did my spark plugs change at 100k about RM500 plus labour.

Then I did my oil changed and gear oil flush at 101k about RM200 plus labour..

So if not wrong about RM700... hehe... I do outside now... At my own convienient timing.. next service is 114k... hehe should be changing the absorbers... which will cost around RM450 front and back..

there's another feature by the module which wasn't mentioned by him. the module will lock the doors when u engage to D for the first time, and unlock itself when u engage to P. when u unlock the doors manually while ur gear is in D, the doors will auto lock itself when the car starts moving again. the most important feature is in the case of emergency or very hard braking, the doors will auto unlock themselves, this is the most useful feature IMO, only found it out the other day when i did a very hard brake.

those old members who had installed UR bars... wanna ask which bar is the most important and should go in 1st ? i only know i have to install , FSB, rear ARB, and front ARB. but currently no budget for all together, so plan to install 1 by 1

Hmm for me I went for rear ARB and FSB then later stage only installed lower FSB

WTA what's the size for our small light (not headlight) ? is it T10 ?

and can any1 help me take a picture from the manual book on how to replace the bulb ? 

how about the rear lights, reverse and signal lights ?

just replaced my front small light with LED bulbs, confirm it's T10.
and my boot light also kong edi.... how to replace that ?

i plan to change all my rear lights into LED bulbs as well. but i heard for signal light need to install another special circuit controller in order to control the LED to not blink too fast when u activate the signal ?

u seem to have many experience DIY LEDs into the car, glad u're still around

the 3rd break lights is referring to the one on the top or the one besides the main rear light? for the one beside the main rear light the size is T20 right ? do you change that ? for cabin light what is the size?
