i think the fuel 'light up' does not mean it's empty. it just saying that the fuel is almost empty and need to be filled up. that's why we can drive a lil bit more km. but how many km i am not sure, and dare not to test. read somewhere it is not good for the engine, as it may collect dirt etc. at the bottom of the tank. (tapi ada dirt ke kat bawah tank tu? haha). even if what i read is not true, i still dun wan to try the limit of the fuel tank. kang minyak habis in the middle of nowhere tak ke haru?

if you can fill 42 liter, that's mean ur fuel tank is dry already.

Your tank reserve 8 - 9L of fuel (sometime 10L) when the low fuel warning light on. You can do full tank right after the lights on to check how many liter of fuel filled up (tank size 42L). To drive how many KM is depends your worst case KM per liter, if you can drive 14Km per liter, then no problem to go for another 98KM with 7 Liter of fuel... don't push to hard beyond 8L, as in the end you may need to push your car tongue.gif

Anyway, more info of my finding last time in this page http://hc3msia.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=105&st=0
