I was told by SA that the 8k rebate is only for cars registered by end of September. Those who book the car within that period but will only get their car in say Oct or Nov by right are not entitled for the 8k rebate according to how Honda do their business.

The correct way for giving the rebate is based on when you register your car, not when you book. But she said what they do is they appeal to Honda to let these rebates stand, although the final decision belongs to Honda Malaysia. With that being said, she did mention that by right as well, if you book in Sept when the rebate is 8k but you get/register your car in Nov when the current rebate is say 10k, you should be entitled for the 10k instead.

Not only his SA, the SA here my place also said like this the rebate only entitle to those register before specific date that promotion end. But they also told me actually it's ok they can't 100% sure but mostly Honda will continue the promotion. This is what he said to me before Raya but it's real that after Raya till now still got the promotion. I think every Honda Dealer also work like this as I also saw quite some people say like this back the front few pages

Well I just hope the 8k rebate is still there by the time the car gets delivered. Cross finger, larger rebate amount would be even better lol icon_idea.gif

By the way guys, for the new City E variant, may I know;

1. The halogen headlight (as noted in Honda MY site) bulb is white or yellow colored?
2. The fog light has its own switch or it switches on when you switch on the headlight (small one/main one)?

Thanks a lot for any responses.

1. Yellowish
2. There's an independent switch for fog light BUT 'small light' must be on to on fog light.

Got it. Small light bulb size is T10 right?

Here you go

front position/driving light = T10
boot lamp = T10
main brake light = T20
3rd brake light = T20
rear driving red light = T10
reverse light = T20
front/side/rear signal light = T10 T20 for front & rear, T10 for side signal (NHC-S).

Strongly not recommend to replace with LED type on front/rear side because:
(1) Not bright enough
(2) LED will cause lower resistance error and will make the 'tik tak' sound abnormal fast when signal to left/right

Thank you so much. Will definitely save this info in my phone notworthy.gif

Btw bro, if I just change the small light T10 to a Philips Good Range Series T10 Ultinon 6000K LED it should solve problem (1) right? How about problem (2) as I'm just changing the small light not the signal lights?

I've bought Philips Crystal Vision 4300K for both headlights and foglights. Just want headlight and small light to be both white instead of one white one orange-y, which from my own experience doesn't look nice lol tongue.gif

Hi bros. Going for the 1000 KM service this weekend. Any thing I should look out for? Looking under Maintenance at Honda Malaysia site the price will be 20++ and even that is for labor charges which will be free anyway so what do they do for 1000 KM service actually? lol

By default, NOTHING will change in 1,000 service, just various inspections...

So it's FREE!

FOR 1000km service, only do car inspection, totally FOC

Thanks for the input bros! thumbup.gif

so far so good for the tyre size..my previous rim will hit the fender since the offset is 38..so i change to the advanti rim with offset 40 anf just nice with the tyre size..but surely if u hentam lubang kaw2, it will hit the fender. whistling.gif

currently using Toyo Proxes T1 and the tyres is worth the price.. rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

sorry bro, no picture of the rim now since my blackride is at home now..coming to office with motor only. brows.gif

using same rims as you now bro. but dare not use 205/55R16 so use 50 instead hehe thumbup.gif
