ahfad, for 1k service they didnt change the engine oil - so the FC should not be any diff.
anyway my FC increase significantly after 5000 service (first oil change) , now if i drive with " my own ECO Mode" I can easily reach 16km/h. If outstation highway , can reach 17km/h.
average would be 14-15km/h tho.

QUOTE(ahfad @ Feb 22 2013, 09:47 PM) Yeah, the counter person did told me tht they didnt change the engine oil etc. Just a normal inspection. Before 1k service, my fuel consumption is really-really sucks. rm75 can only go for 180km . Now it's getting better 17km/l quite good. Eco mode seems very useful to enhance fuel efficiency. Btw, r u using semi or mineral engine oil? lol, eco mode means my 'light foot activated', city doesnt have a eco mode. yea im using semi engine oil

QUOTE(SHOfrE3zE @ Apr 20 2013, 01:08 AM) another question for clarification, during my previous service, i was charged (although i should get free coz of the service plan) by the honda sc. they told me that because i've exceeded about 1 month from the date of service, i need to pay for the labour charge although my mileage is still under the next service quota. anyone experience this? this is shittest thing i ever heard. you should complain to honda malaysia

morning all, just check with you all for a thing.
I found that everytime when from D gear to R Gear, surely there willl be a 'dok' sound one, but need to lower down your window in order to listen.
but if from P to R, no problem one, but if u purposely doing P -> R -> N - > D -> then -> N -> R, sure got 'dok' sound,
so the conclusion is everytime the gear change R from D, will hav a "dok" sound. anyone experience this too? if i'm the only one then im gonna complain to SC.
thanks

good to hear its normal so im ok with it. just worrying only. hehe
i will go to outside service after 100k km (to ensure there is no manufacturer defect to the engine n gearbox) , anyway, service center now is using 10-30 semi oil,
guys do you have any fully that reocmmended? that is x-30 grade?

yeah honda is trying to suck us as much as possible. for me, i drive a lot due to my job. average 5000km less than 1 month. so its like 25-30 days for each service and the cost is really sky high.
im also planning to service outside after 100K km, to ensure my engine n gearbox dont have any manufacturer defect. the cost servicing outside would be 2-3x cheaper than what honda price now. after calculation i might as well save the 2-3x cheaper maintenance and void the warranty.
If honda revise to 10k interval then i might continue to service. really stupid Honda malaysia. even vios and almera is doing 10k. Mazda2/3 too

QUOTE(BlackWoods @ Jul 29 2013, 03:36 PM) Vios is still doing 5k interval, they are confusing their customers also. My gf just double confirmed her Vios service interval is 5k as well  my sis vios has been doing 10k interval for 3 years already, still under warranty as she claimed a few parts from Toyota among these years. this is why i know its 10k interval. maybe different SC? she is servicing in old klang road Toyota ya fyi, the package is Semi oil for 10k service, customer can choose to top up to Fully, still 10k. for honda its abit bullshit, standard 5k interval, top u to fully, still 5k. Nice honda Malaysia This post has been edited by skylinegtr34: Jul 30 2013, 08:59 AM
