QUOTE(Issac_aq @ Apr 2 2013, 01:27 AM) Hi all, just wanna ask, is there any replacement model for 5th generation city since its serving on the road since 2009 & only got FL last year. If got when is it will be possibility launch? Although vios has launch their new model in thailand last month, im in a big worried coz already make a booking NHC MMC & pay d/paymnt with it huhu.. Any news or info of the new model city is very highly appreciated. Really needed it. TQ Try google it mostly says will be on this Q3 2013 at thailand motorshow.. Is it true?? Plz help For the most Japanese car manufacturers, a new model to replace the existing model will be 5 years. 5th gen City was first introduced in end of year 2008, that's means the replacement model will be announced by Q3 2013 or early 2014. But don't worry lah bro, the current City still looks good with vehicle stability assist, peddle snifters, 5 speed AT, and etc compare with other upcoming replacement from the brand "T". QUOTE(kllee1983 @ Apr 5 2013, 01:44 PM) I thought the honeycomb grill is the part above the number plate with logo. But what i need to fix is the part below the number plate... is it available in most accessories shop too? Tks Yes, bro. Saw that a few times at few different accessories shop before, it comes with standard size and they will cut it to fit your bumper. Something like this.

QUOTE(skylinegtr34 @ Jun 12 2013, 08:37 AM) morning all, just check with you all for a thing. I found that everytime when from D gear to R Gear, surely there willl be a 'dok' sound one, but need to lower down your window in order to listen. but if from P to R, no problem one, but if u purposely doing P -> R -> N - > D -> then -> N -> R, sure got 'dok' sound, so the conclusion is everytime the gear change R from D, will hav a "dok" sound. anyone experience this too? if i'm the only one then im gonna complain to SC. thanks The design is like that, bro. If not mistaken the 8th gen Civic has the same sound too.

QUOTE(takeshiru @ Jul 2 2013, 11:04 PM) Honda city got traction control? Just wondering coz mine is the s spec..3yrs old d...or the new honda city only have? Haha Try to get the higher spec as possible..the loan will equally distribute the amount rather than save and have to fork out a huge sum to upgrade it later yea? Wish mine has leather seat... Yes, only the facelifted E-Spec comes with traction control/Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA). It worth more than anything I can say, safety is priceless.

QUOTE(babygrand123 @ Aug 25 2013, 01:28 PM) The cruise control is indeed when riding on highway!!!! Our honda user manual book also have cruise control listed but too sad in real life we don't have it seem we are far behind from india and the stupid always claim that we are developing country, high income, peaceful, democracy, full of lawful and the best part want to setup nuclear plant over here and keep telling malaysian very safe and they can manage it...........bullshit even Japan until now officially declare they can't fix the leaking keep spreading it to ocean...........i think now all these idiot should help japan to fix the shit!!!!!!! always brake only without no action at all. Actually City in India, China and Australia does come with cruise control. Also tried to search around but too bad it's almost impossible bring in the original cruise control from other countries and install in our City, unless we re-map/ change the whole ECU.

QUOTE(babygrand123 @ Sep 1 2013, 10:42 PM) bro thanks for the prompt reply so the source battery take form where ???? fuse box or cigar inlet ?? Get the power source directly from reading lamps socket (the light above the arm rest), so it will fade it/ fade out whenever the car is unlocked or any door is opened. Or you may also connect it to the headlights' fuse, so the LED will be on whenever the headlights are switched on.

Regarding the 5k or 10k engine oil change, it's not about what type of oil you use during each of the service, but the problem is, the normal Honda oil filter (blue in colour) can only last about 5k-6k. So no matter it's semi or fully, I would recommend to change it every 5k, unless you go other quality oil filters.

QUOTE(yyie @ Sep 9 2013, 10:49 AM) owned the car for 9 days. on the 8th day, the car started to give some rattling sound all over the dashboard....couldn't locate where is the source of the sound yet.....but it seems like coming out from everywhere of the dashboard.... anyone face this problem too? Same here, since the first day I got my car, 3 years ago. For my case, the sound comes from the head unit. Very irritating.

QUOTE(paqralos @ Sep 9 2013, 09:05 AM) Does that mean when I ask them to change a better oil filter it can last longer? Do they actually have options as such? The blue filter is usually what they use, that's the only option if you service at SC I guess? And this is what I use, it lasts longer and filter better but slight more expensive:-

Same here, mine got stolen for the second time recently. I think it's better to get them replace as soon as possible as it's raining everyday lately, else the exposed bolt and nut will get rusted soon.
