QUOTE(earl-ku @ May 20 2013, 03:08 AM) anyone changed their dashboard's instruments lights before? Don't think that is possible bro. or at least i don't think the teardown and wiring work will be worth it. why? wanna change from pre-FL to FL blue color? lol IMHO i feel very tak match with the rest of the car. all still red/amber, including radio and aircon controls, then suddenly got blue color speedometer.

QUOTE(gepochai @ May 20 2013, 04:54 PM) hi guys, i think my tyres have wore out quite badly. recently i can hear a very loud whishing sound (not sure how to describe it) from my front tyres. its like every cycle it spins, the tyre generates like whishing sound. so the faster i drive the frequency of the noise increases. and when i slow down the frequency decreases in parallel. its very obvious especially in the morning and also at night. and the noise gets even louder when i swerve to the car to the right. but in the afternoon the sound is less notable. how old is your car? check the level of thread. get like a coin or something or even ruler la. measure from in to out the whole width of the tire. But i doubt it's your tyres. prime suspect, wheel bearings. any mods? rims? tyre? suspension? try isolate where is it coming from. front or back left or right.

QUOTE(winterwish @ May 20 2013, 07:53 PM) Nice, you replace all your light ah. So bright compared to stock. I switched to Osram few weeks ago, not much different How's the new rotor? more bite? philips also not much. unless the road is completely dark. cause the normal yellow street lights cover the white light. rotor rocks. lol. definitely more bite, even at higher speeds. Initially feels softer. but then i feel it's better compared to stock. Stock pads are too hard. can't feel when the bite gets harder.

QUOTE(vuilun @ May 21 2013, 11:35 AM) Bros & Sis..did u guys realize, when your city go downhill..the gear box will automatic shift down to assits..(kind of u shift the gear to lower gear to use engine brake).. this function call what ya? the function is called "shift hold." andyfriends - if visibility, get something around 3400K color temp. White light will always be drowned by yellow. so normal night driving on well lit roads, u won't even see your lights. going to genting is a diff story.

QUOTE(andyfriends @ May 21 2013, 04:36 PM) any particular brand that you could recommend with price please? cheers see above. LOL. philips bulb would be around RM180-230 ish depending on connector type and color so-so. osram and PIAA probably around there or 10-20 bucks cheaper depending which series. michiba, i heard some bad things. doesn't last quite as long. but then again, philips have been known to fuse early also. I guess it's all luck and your own preference. my philips H4 did fuse. had to buy a new pair again. but the fuse was after 9 months? my fogs have been on for more than 6 months. no issues yet.

HAHA best part about philips, comes with matching T10 bulbs so your parking light matches. so for each set i bought, i got extras. I have like 2 pairs lying around cause of this.

QUOTE(irwan6179 @ Jun 23 2013, 02:10 AM) Anyway, anyone has recommendation for after market brake pad. Sc told to change rear one already. Thinking about changing all 4 with after market parts. Just change the front ones will do. The back bias isn't that high. I'm using Project Mu.

QUOTE(winterwish @ Jun 23 2013, 02:59 AM) I removed mine.. took almost 4 hours. Try and send to accessories shop and ask them to remove it for you (probably not free).. or if you want to try it yourself, here's a few tips. 1. Slowly try and peel of the door visor and try to get as much tape as you can out as well from the first peel. 2. Once you remove all the visors, use Zippo lighter fluid to wet the remaining tape that still stuck on the door frame. 3. Look for this door wedge (usually in pink color), use it like an eraser to rub off the tape. 4. Do NOT use your fingernail, you'll easily scratch the rubber frame (I did with mine, now can see some marking already) Good luck. i would recommend you find the nearest ACE hardware shop, find something called Label Remover by Ambersil. Ambersil Label RemoverWorks better. I've used this to remove all forms of sticky tape residue including the rear badges.

QUOTE(irwan6179 @ Jun 25 2013, 02:08 PM) Thanks bro. I'll look into this one. Weird that the SC say need to change rear one. Usually the wear and tear one is brakepad right? not brake disc? btw bro you mention before RM700 for Brembo + bestop, is it for front only? Thanks yea bro. front only. I never touch belakang. no need la. leave it stock.

QUOTE(hhkangyong @ Jul 16 2013, 07:21 AM) stock rim not wide enough to cover 205.. E spec rim can fit 205. A lot of us are doing that. But bro, if you wanna replace tyres, please do all 4. and from then, rotate more frequently so you will have even tyre wear. BlackWoods, What kind of brake noise are you talking about? high speed above 100km/h whirring noise when you brake? or low speed? or crawling?
