Although I must admit that his clinic has none of the fancy shiny metallic stuff, he's one good vet. My family's pets has been seeing him for years and years already.

He saved my Golden's tail from being surgically removed. My dog chewed away the stitches covering her wound, so we brought her back to the vet to re-stitch again - and he didn't even charge us for it. ^^

One thing I do know is, don't visit the Jalan Tun Razak Animal Hospital. My friend's shih-tzu vomitted plain water but they hospitalized the dog for three days before discharging it. They charge my friend for tranquilers and a list of dunno-wat medicines and all my friend got was a totally zonked out dog. His dog lost appetite and stared into space for almost 2 days before getting back to its usual self.

3 yrs back ..i bring 1 of my fren dog over there(emergency sick ) ..enter at 11.45pm ... then come out at 12.15am ..they charge me extra RM 150 for midnite service ....wahhhhhhhh...nvr tell ppl b4 entering ..kesian me ...go n find ATM after tat ..midnite so hard to find ATM lagi ..

Wa lao ..next time around late nite ..if wana go Vet ..ned to bring extra cash ..

Not all vets are like that. Only those fancy vet clinics do that. If the clinics that caters to humans can demand down payment before giving medical attention to a dying person, what else do you expect when it's vets? They'll milk us dry because they know our weakness.

But like I've said, those fancy vets with fancy equipments and shiny tiles and etc tend to leech people. Where you think they get their income from? Milk milk milk until there's no more left.

Just wondering what if my hamster have wet tail? Anybody know any vet to get medication from? I'm staying in Petaling Jaya.

actually i am familiar with that place bcoz i take bus to my kampung at the pekeliling bus stop there..then also near kl monorail for titiwangsa..lrt star also titiwangsa..from pekeliling i can see amc logo at the building..heheh tq tq..

Help! Help!
I just noticed my guinea pig is losing fur overnight in patches!! I need to bring him to a vet but I just don't know where i can find a good vet that really has knowledge on caring and healing guinea pigs. Most vets treat dogs and cats and I'm really lost as to where I can go to.
Does anyone here who owns guinea pigs know of any good vets around? Preferably not cut-throat charges and around Subang or PJ area. My poor guinea pig is sleeping all day...so sad....

in PJ dr.yeoh has very high reputation n his treatments r quite good..
but 1 thing, its quite pricey..

last time my shihtzu broke his leg,[or dats wat da vet told me],
i took him 2 da nearest vet i can find..

seems very unhygiene..
he din show me da x-ray but he told me dat my puppy's leg's bone was broken n he need 2 do an operation on it..ask me 2 come bac n collect him in 5hours..
eh pls la u din show me da xray how i noe whether he really has a broken bone or jus a lil loosen near da ligaments?
he charged me rm300 for da single lil thing n da bandage went off after 2days..
i went bac 2 my hometown n da went 2 another clinic, which the vet says its jus a lil matter which the bone came out a lil from da right place, n the oni thing they did is jus put bac da bone, no operations done. it was a LIE.
da bandage was like 2 big ice cream sticks wif big plasters, n he cut off all his fur!
my puppy lost his appetite 4 a few days due 2 extreme dosage of "morphine" or watever thing they use 2 dooze him off..

very angry wif this clinic n da vet!
i don mind paying more 4 good treatment! idiot!
cheated my money!

Anyway I finally went to Dr. Yeoh in Tmn Megah. He's really nice and treats my guinea pig well. Surprisingly though, he said there's nothing wrong with my guinea pig......weird.

erm..mayb its jus normal circulation..
its time 4 him 2 change a batch of new fur i guess..

Hmm...maybe...could be....I thought he was in deep trouble coz he was losing in patches...like BIG patches....anyway I'm happy he's fine! Coz the doc said so!

Yups. That is it. He is very honest and reasonable. Of course he may appear unfriendly or moody sometimes coz it depends on how his day went. He is the only vet there you see and only has 1 or 2 helpers sometimes.
