Hi Personarians, I actually uploaded a screenshot to Campro Turbo club. Might as well also post here to get quicker/more explanation.

Hello Budok Guchil Lamo, Raedi Yusof dan ahli2 sekalian. Apologies for using English because some terms are hard to explain in BM.

This is my Persona's OBD2 screenshot. I have confusion about B1S1 and B1S2 temperature. According to online answers, B1S1 is at exhaust manifold, B1S2 is after catalytic converter. Can I use B1S1 as EGT reading? Why is B1S2 temperature higher even though further from engine? My observation is B1S1 temperature increase faster than B1S2 when I accelerate.

Engine still stock (don't dare to BOT until I make sure EGT is okay). I am already using custom made water thermostat to keep coolant lower temperature.

bro...i think from the (not accurate) coolant temp analog meter...i can estimate that d min&max temp is somewhere same as urs...
around 82C n sometimes will drop to around 78C (agak agak result from analog meter)

improvement...i will say cant feel any improvement (not a performance mod also) but it is good that it is proven that the custom thermostat opens at lower temp (as experimented during TT) after taking out the stock thermostat,i go back n put in a just-boiled-hot water...left it in like for 10mins+ pun tak open...normal ka? during TT i knw d water we use to experiment is like not even 90C and the custom thermostat opens within 5 mins... rclxms.gif

by comparing both thermostat with this experiment, theoretically, coolant will flow more fequently keeping the temp lower than wad the stock thermostat can do...
*
Thanks for the review. I believe the thermostat gives a long mile for performance mod in the future. It will keep the engine head cooler.

The stock thermostat is damn hard to open and can fail to open quite often. Some taxi drivers already burnt their engine by using stock thermostat with long exposure to NGV.

Still got stock ah? I want one but probably next month or something when I finally get some other things I wanted for quite awhile laugh.gif.

Back to back order. Let me know when you want then I will prepare for you.

What is it? Turbocharge? biggrin.gif

I already Ceratec early early. Haha

160 for the damn bottle. And I treated my engine when it's brand new, I cannot feel any difference, even now. Says can last 50K but when I peek into the rocker cover, no sign of the orange brown ceramic.

Panasonic got DIN55R and so cheap meh? Maintenance-free?
Few months back I checked their facebook got someone ask for satria neo size, I think also DIN55R, but that time they replied this size not available YET. DIN55 (non R) early 2012 my dad change is RM280 after trade-in old battery. But I love Panasonic as I observe the starter cranking is super fast. GP and Century last time when new also not as fast as this...

Walao, got temp sensor at exhaust area also? campro's engine mgmt so advance 1?
*
The ECU is quite advanced. A lot more sensors that I haven't shown here. Intake temperature also got.

The Campro timing advance, for example, follows Lotus's aggressive +42 degree advance. Can see from the OBDII read out. This engine has a lot of racing potential.

ya the ECU is advance but weather there is a sensor fixed by proton  hmm.gif or they just jumper the terminal and giving some value, have u check those reading work accordingly?
but proton wanna save cost not utilise those funtion brain advance but physical cacat.....PE event seat belt light also don't have  doh.gif the meter display aldy alocate the seat belt light but no wiring no sensor ? or the sensor aldy connected to the Air Bag module so no more signal spare to meter display  hmm.gif  .......system engineering design phail....

bro have diy instruction with video/picture on how to diy install ..... brows.gif

The sensors gives reasonable values, not random values. But one from S4PH-T community pointed out that the temperature is obtained from O2 sensor, not a dedicated EGT sensor.

anyone using Liquimoly MOS2 10w-40 here?

after changing EO it looks like the car like lose some power, have to downshift more often. but highway cruise is quiet liao.
*
I am currently on LM MOS2. What oil are you comparing to?

Did you feel the pedal become easier to press then you kept accelerating more than usual? Haha. LM engine oil is quite good in my opinion. It needs 500KM for the molybdenum to bond for better performance

lol~~that's why say maybe XD
less power wih CNG wor.
*
Those who complains about lack of power are those using inexpensive mixer system. Usually Saga/Iswara/Wira taxi use those.
Sequential systems are much more sophisticated, precise direct injections. Genting no problem, rempit rempit no problem, on highways also can be king.

I took my Persona for a ride to Genting. Wah, the brake is really useless even I avoided excessive braking by using 2nd gear. It faded until totally lost grip when fully pressed. Front brake pad faded or rear faded/overheated?

Even after getting Bendix Metal King Titanium pads for mine, on straights braking the car feels like it's going down a slope with the brakes fully pressed. So yes, the brakes are shit, and especially on hills.
*
Exactly, even fully depressed, still decelerate very gradually as if I barely pressed the brake pedal.

Original Brake Pad problem,  tongue.gif

Really? See above, changing pads also didn't help. I'm afraid is the rear drum brakes cannot dissipate heat and overheated.

I was driving slow, in fact I take all speed bumps slowly, hence I brake to 20KM/h or less usually. My downhill speed is about 40KM/h with 2nd gear. Even that little braking, end up had faded brakes after few KM. Because of my slow speed, it was no issue, but I can guess if there is an emergency braking needed, my car can't stop in time.

i tot with throttle control 100% throttle also not same?
well, I got little knowledge so I refer XD
I may be wrong but I'd say take the graph lightly. Negligible/no difference between 100% throttle stock ETC with 100% throttle aftermarket ETC
