QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Jan 13 2013, 08:39 PM) Lets hope your car isn't returned to you with its fuel reading increased by 2L per 100KM in just less than 6KM, with its air-cond smelling as if someone pee'd in it, and with the radio at volume level 26 I'll turn them out side down. Not till the issue is all fixed, I won't sign off for the car's collection. |

I am letting go my engine top set and gear box with wiring and ECU Not sure if anyone would take the trouble to convert Campro to Campro CPS. Might have as well change to forged internals, put high compression pistons or turbocharge. |

I went to attempt collect my car today. Gosh, so dirty, rain marks everywhere. I've never seen my car so dirty.
The door workmanship is too poor, loose door panel, exposed weathersheet at the door panel, unneat rubber strips at window. Complain and send back in right away. I think I also saw the mileage increased almost 100KM. I feel that I don't even get to use my own car. It's in CoSE more than spending time in my house. |

I got my car back from CoSE. The workmanship is really good after a complain, like new car or even better. Haven't tested whether the window can withstand car wash pressure or not.
More than 1 week not driving the car, it feels awkward to drive again. Felt the car is so powerful, steering so smooth and responsive. But really difficult to brake compared to my Wira. |

QUOTE(voscar @ Jan 18 2013, 08:08 PM) U sure that is your car? Or they replace a new car for u? Bloody service centre. Still leaking water after today's car wash. Am I expecting too much from a Proton? Did I use the car wrong? I'm not asking for submarine grade, just something that doesn't leak in car washpowerful coz they rev your car everyday, min 5k rpm before upshift, steering responsive coz drift parking always. of coz your brake pad also used-up alot, thus drops in braking performance |

Yes, from the glass. Replaced the seals many times, this time replaced power window regulator too. Still fail.
They should have try replacing the glass itself |

QUOTE(linkinpark @ Jan 20 2013, 06:13 PM) Just got my car 3day only, mileage around 250km. Today during a stop at a traffic light gear "D" position and i was breaking feel like the car pushing and pushing abit awhile then stop. Happen a few times already today. It will happen when air-con start. If you don't want that feeling, put N whenever possible or drive a manual. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Jan 20 2013, 09:58 PM |

Is everyone's reverse sensor perfect? I sent mine to CoSE, came back still a bit imperfect. Random beep sometimes.

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Jan 21 2013, 10:16 AM) mengsuan, reading your posts in this thread (no, I don't have a problem with your posts, no offense), I just think that you're some kind of perfectionist in real life, one of that is extreme. I'm an engineer. All my work are in order, so should my car. Lol.side note, my car is a-okay nao, engine misfired second time due to engine problem, last lube was the main cause. QUOTE(The_FQ400 @ Jan 21 2013, 11:01 AM) High compression piston. Cheap way is to use Campro 1.3 piston on our 1.6 engine.Piggyback/Standalone ECU for remapping and timing advance. Port and polish. Bigger injectors. Improved intake manifold and exhaust system. Optional: NOS |

QUOTE(The_FQ400 @ Jan 21 2013, 11:21 AM) I've seen a custom high compression piston on facebook, comments by users said around 15:1. It's really raised up so much, with small clearance for the valve. If you insist to get so much power without using turbo/supercharger, high compression engine is an alternative, but be prepared to use RON97 or higher. Maybe even RON97 will detonate. If you ask me, not worth it, 150HP can be easily achieved with turbo and still not so picky about fuel. |
