 How to keep subwoofer in the trunk from moving?

Guys,i need help on how to keep the subwoofer from moving all over the trunk
yesterday i was driving downhill at genting with all the ICE turned off of course with a lil bit sideways action hehe
then when i stopped at a mamak shop at wangsa maju i opened the trunk and discovered that my jlw6 is upside down sad.gif lucky its not damaged
wondering will velcro will work or not?

U need heavy duty Velcro wo. and alot too! ( Not cheap le )
Howie that time help me put some rubber palster below my SUb thumbup.gif

Get the 3M velcro tape.Its white in colour & very very strong.

For my case, just use a rubber mat to hold the woofer box... smile.gif

Own ok...I dunno wether to do bracket or not because I might need to remove the sub when I need to carry a lot of stuff in the trunk
But mikex where do you find the rubber mat or it's better to use Velcro smile.gif
Yesterday lucky I didn't turn on the ice if not dunno what will happen to the sub lol
It's literally box on the sub lucky the sub foam Is not damaged

1 thing bad about Velcro is the Glue....

that's the reason u need to do a proper install at the back for everything....less headache and easy to maintain...then the sub box can find a good place to screw in, when wanna remove, just unscrew 2 to 3 screw and u can remove it..simple and effective...

I just use a RM8 per piece rubber mat got from car accessories section in Carrefour or Parkson. smile.gif Cheapo method but do the job.

Show u a pic of the woofer box on rubber mat...

confirmed won't work on touge/track. because even with velcro + 2x toolboxes "clamping" the woofer box, my woofer box will still move

I bought a pack of RM5 velcro from Daiso, got 4 pcs. it does hold my sub after some side way action at genting tongue.gif

I don't think most of the reply has a sub as heavy as yours. Also they don't drive as crazy as you too... tongue.gif

Try velcro way, I doubt it will meet your requirement. The EA fler way would be best lar.

Or you want my way? Dampen the sub box until 30kg... laugh.gif
