upgrade tier 3... had a battle with tier 5 tanks... even i gun cant deal damage to them.. do all in the end people just kill other tank with long distance??? like spg

Nahh....tier 3 will always have difficulty penetrating tier 5 tanks. It's normal. Depending on the cannons of each tank. Look at the penetration factor.

The Pz I C. is my favorite for a tier 3 tank.

higher tier tanks will have better armor, either in terms of thickness or slope. they will also usually have better view range, and spot you even you can see them. in battle such as this, you are advised not to go head to head with them. instead, flanking would be a viable solution, granted that your gun have enough penetration to punch through their weaker side and rear armor. i will usually stock some premium ammo using credits (since i am dirt cheap ) just in case i might be way below the food chain.

i know its weakness is the small triangle lower glacier but very often cant see that at all..

Frontally, the IS-3 is almost impenetrable except for the lower glacias plate.

and if you angled your tank/gun correctly you can pen the gun mantlet which kills off the gunner.

yeah get an IS3

Learn weakspots, learn angling, learn maps, learn playstyles.

for starter i think its better to go the TD line because generally TD has way high penetrating factor, but the down side is that the tank itseld handles very poorly and has lower armor. but hey ur shots can bring ppl down to 50% if it lands.

also my tip will be when u get killed, dont press escape and immediately get into another tank. stay and watch what other ppl do, learn what u did wrong there and got u killed. left/right click until u are watching the guy with the top kills and see what he does and imrpovise/copycat/adopt what he/she did correctly.

and while doing that u can also pan the camera around that tank and see where the weakness is, machine gun ports/viewing hatches/nice flat surfaces/etc

To frontally with IS3 you need a gun with 200+ penetration

the further you snipe, the less the penetration become

top cupola, under the pike nose if you have lower than 200 pen gun

IS6 try aim the driver hatch right in center, the body angle make it hard to pen when it move/angling

JgPanther have no armor, dont depend on it

use camo skills/double bush sniping or binocs

depend what tank u using, if I using tier 8 heavy also, IS3 frontal armor is nth, simply aim near the 2 square, can penetrate easily, or aim the top of the turret, there are 2 small view port.

IS6, there is a little view port at middle of the front armor, below the gun, that can penetrate even with tier 6 tank.

not too familiar with TD, anyway, use advantage of ur camo

Everytime i brawl with IS3, i would aim for the pointy front. the rest sure easily bounce your shot.
