QUOTE(Gen-X @ Apr 10 2013, 09:48 AM) yah, if you do not need the credit limit assigned to you, it is good that you reduce it. Thanks for the info! I have reduced my CL for OCBC Titanium and HLB credit cards by simply calling Customer Service and telling them the limit I want. Once again, MBB allows you to set the SMS alert starting from RM1 so call them and do so. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2195645 Just called service centre, and ask for credit limit down to 9K. Also, set the SMS alert to RM300. |

You all make me worried!
So, just called CS and reduce SMS notification into RM1 and cancel my rarely used mastercard. |

that depend on the merchant.
usually, big shop will send the transaction everyday, and small small shop send it after several day. |

QUOTE(ChroniclesIY @ May 10 2013, 10:31 AM) FYI i did a spreadsheet on the maybank vouchers vis a vis points to see what is the potential cashback, based on the maybank rewards show on their online site. varies from 1.67% - 2.95% cash equivilent. this also assumes you use the full amount of the voucher. Hopefully you guys find it useful » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Thanks for this. I always wonder which will give me more value on the TP. Now for me, 1st Hush Puppies then Metrojaya then Parkson. |

QUOTE(watdou1 @ May 12 2013, 10:06 PM) hihi..may i know will i get rebate if transaction date is weekend but posting date is weekday.. I seems did not receive any rebate for this kind of transaction.. No, only posting date is relevance for 5% cash back. Thanks Seem we don't have much control over this. But, usually, large merchant posted in the same day as transaction. When we a regular at one merchant, we can already predict their posting day. For example, a Petronas near my home will post a day after the transaction. To be able to get the rebate, I pump my car either on Friday or Saturday.
