You want to compare a Premier level service and a normal card service. Really not comparable.
However, it's something common to all service industry in Malaysia. (Even coffee shops) Try comparing S Korea, you'll gasp with amazement. Even swiping your credit card and approving the transactions takes about 5 sec or less. (Some shops max within 2-3 seconds) Anything more is considered slow - bear in mind ... generally the folks here have a different mindset altogether. So it's not so simple as to expect the Malaysian hospitality and service industry to be able to change just like that.

I guess they only approve your application up to Gold card level only. i.e. they don't qualify you for plat card.
Well, at least you start off with gold, rather than rejected. Build up your monthly prompt payment, get higher income, then in 1-2 years time, submit for upgrade to plat.

Yes, you'll get 5% cashback, as it is on Sat.

Well, not all MBB stuff are familiar with their own banks' products. Goto another branch and tell them you want to open M2U online with your MBB credit card (advise you make the Visa or MC as the main card since it has 16 digits as such no need to add 0 like in AMEX case when registering for the first time).
Next time read 1st page instead of blaming us for your own ignorance.

It's different. Gen-X and i did not have any savings or current account at Maybank when we got our Maybank credit cards. Our first ever M2U login username was set up using our Maybank credit card 

Im having the same issue as well. They gave me two M2U accounts for the 2 credit cards, but when I tried to first time login the other one (first card successful), it failed. Now I called CS and noone answering.. 

I don't think this was the problem. Last time my M2U was set up using my MBB2 AMEX. Then they manually linked my MBB2 VISA to this M2U account.
This is a Maybankard thread... you can look for a savings account thread, or online banking thread and post your question there.

Anyway, you can try to ring up their CS. There should be able to check through their computer. Alternatively, visit your nearest Maybank branch and they will definitely be able to help you out.

Did you try other Cash Deposit Machine ? Maybe during that time has communication failure between CDM and Maybank ?

Just wanted to share my experience.

When I tried to make a payment to my MBB2 card - AMEX, I enter the payment amount as shown in statement by M2U, but the MBB system show there is error message. I called CS and they told me that's a new balance (after rebate) I have to settle. By paying correct updated amount thru M2U,I have successfully made a payment.

I wondering maybe your statement balance is not as per their "updated amount".

This error will only happen if you are using M2U but if you use CDM, it should be OK. If I remember correctly, CDM allows overpay but not M2U.
