I'm surprised that both of you have to create NEW M2U login username when you get a new savings account. My experience is different though. I have an old savings account with MBB and have been using M2U ever since. Then when I applied for MBB Amex2, my credit card (Amex + Visa) were automatically linked to my M2U login username. I never had to create separate username for credit card and savings account.
*
QUOTE(ronnie @ Feb 23 2013, 12:18 PM)
Same here.... I believe if you had Maybank CASA + M2U Logon before Maybank CC, everything is automated.
Even after I changed M2U logon (due to opening a Basic Savings Account), everything is still automated (i.e. after credit card replacement)
*
It's different. Gen-X and i did not have any savings or current account at Maybank when we got our Maybank credit cards. Our first ever M2U login username was set up using our Maybank credit card smile.gif

So bro miles, even if I swipe another 1k the next month, even if I clear the rm500 after swiping 1k, i wont be charged interest right? Cos sometimes its confusing esp when the statement balance doesnt reset after clearing it
*
Yes. That's correct. As long as you clear your statement balance (RM500 in the example given by you) before the due date, then all is good you won't be charged a single cent (late payment + interest). What important is that you clear the statement balance in full smile.gif

All the sifus here, recently i booked one hotel in seoul and they required me to pay 10% deposit as confirmation.they required me to send them my credit card info and i gave them my MC card number, expiry date..they said will charge the card..my question is,can they charge the card without CCV juz using card number and expiry date?i was wondering
*
I think they can. I booked some ground tour package from 2 different travel agencies in Seoul before and they asked for my credit card details for guarantee. They only needed my credit card number and expiry date. That's all.

Huh?wtf?u dun worry they misuse ur card or charge unneccesary charges?they can keep the details for future too..i only thought they want it as gurantee only..
*
The travel agencies in Korea i dealt with are big ones. I always try to deal with reputable companies but of course, the risk will always be there. That is why one has to be careful and keep a close watch on your credit card account at all times.

QUOTE(F1meteor @ Feb 25 2013, 11:48 AM)
How do u aware of the fraud?
U get to know it from the CC statement?

Now after they changed to e-statement, i rarely go through it anymore
Just see the total and pay  laugh.gif
*
Which is not wise at all.

From their conversation, the m2u must link to master/visa then amex is link as sub.....
*
I don't think this was the problem. Last time my M2U was set up using my MBB2 AMEX. Then they manually linked my MBB2 VISA to this M2U account.

QUOTE(blue16 @ Feb 25 2013, 05:16 PM)
hi everyone, just wanna ask some question about maybank2u
how i can know the detail such as name and account number if someone transfer money to me?
thanks.
*
This is a Maybankard thread... you can look for a savings account thread, or online banking thread and post your question there.

Anyway, you can try to ring up their CS. There should be able to check through their computer. Alternatively, visit your nearest Maybank branch and they will definitely be able to help you out.

hello guys,

I am now filling the form to apply for this card. But got questions to ask

1) can I pay the cc bill tru maybank2u from my islamic saving account?
*
Sure you can.

QUOTE(kazekage_09 @ Mar 1 2013, 10:28 AM)
2) the form stated to fasten process, I must give also my latest 6 months saving account activity. but the problem is I am using cimb as my saving acc all this years and cannot retrieve the activity record unless I go to bank and ask. But since I so lazy to go to bank, can I just skip this documents?

thank you
*
You don't have to unless someone from the credit card processing centre call you to submit it. When i applied mine, i didn't give my bank statement. Both my parents didn't give their bank statement either and they do not have any savings or current account with Maybank.

if I request to replace it, means I will get new card number or remain the same? if new card number, what would happen to my existing point, auto billing etc?
*
Card replacement due to spoilt card will have the same card number. The CVV may be different though. And it won't affect your existing rewards points.

You can print out the application form online and fax all the supporting documents to their credit card centre. This is how me and my mom applied for our credit cards all the time including for this particular card combo (MBB2).

2. McDonalds RM10 voucher - 2,000TP instead of 2,700TP
3. Carrefour RM110 Gift Card - 20,000TP only
4. AEON RM100 voucher - 20,000TP instead of 21,000TP

There should be and from what i understand, there have more voucher choices there. Just that KLCC and The Gardens are the most convenient for me. So i usually only go to either place whenever i want to redeem vouchers using my TP.

PayPal can accept Amex already? Good! Always had problems trying to register it.  thumbup.gif
*
It's not exactly new. I've used my AMEX at Paypal many times over the years back before MBB2 exist. If you still have problem registering your AMEX, just a simple call to MBB credit card centre will solve this.

QUOTE(DM3 @ Mar 26 2013, 03:34 PM)
well only big problem i see is the fraud charges that cant be stop on time,we will have to pay 1st when it appears in statement before the reversal kicks in
*
For some banks such as Citibank, you can file a dispute as soon the charges (fraud, double charged etc.) appear in your online transaction history and they will reverse the charges as soon as they receive your dispute form. But as usual, there is a penalty if you wrongly file a dispute.

I just realize the AEON voucher is RM100 for 21000 points. Which makes the point cash back value to be about 2.3% and no longer 2.5%
*
Only 20,000 TP needed to redeem 5xRM20 (total RM100) vouchers at Maybankard Centre.

Yes. Same at my place too. They have never ran out of voucher for Bonuslink redemption. Only the voucher for MBB TP redemption was out of stock. Anyway, i finally managed to redeem a few Parkson vouchers yesterday biggrin.gif

Welcome back, by the way tongue.gif

i manage to redeem RM400 voucher from Metrojaya Mid Valley on saturday
hassle free... rclxms.gif

Yes. I also never had any problem redeeming Metrojaya voucher. Mom splurged more than RM2k at Metrojaya Mid-Valley just two weeks before CNY two months ago and she only paid about RM10+ for all the items she bought while the rest of the bills were picked up by Maybank biggrin.gif Impossible not to love this MBB2 AMEX.

Since I have no salary slips for the past 2 years, I have been requesting temporary increase in CL ( up to RM50K more) and so far MBB always entertained my request smile.gif
I'll be flying off again come this weekend  wink.gif

I would totally entertain all of your requests too if I were working for Maybank tongue.gif

Yah MBB AMEX 2 is fantastic, 5X TP for every RM1  rclxms.gif Not sure this year but last 2 years had special promo on MJ vouchers.
*
What was the special MJ voucher promo about ? The only promo I know is that all purchases above RMxxx (if my memory serves me correctly, it's RM150) will get you RM20 voucher (comes in RM10 denomination).

QUOTE(scpt @ Apr 8 2013, 05:40 PM)
Curious, how long is the validity period of the vouchers that you've redeemed?
*
1-year. My mom redeemed it and used it on the same day.

QUOTE(ronnie @ Apr 8 2013, 10:12 AM)
I wonder does MBB actually pay Parkson for those vouchers... if yes, MBB being stingy to buy so low quotas.
*
I emailed Maybank more than 1 week ago, basically to complain about this and also asked them who is responsible to make sure voucher is available. They already replied me and said will get back to me after they get a response from the relevant department.

Bro I willing to fly you monthly to Melbourne with AA but you pay my rent and cook for my children and I'll give you 1 weekend off and fly you back to KK ok? hahaha
*
It's on provided i have the final say in where you and your kids stay and you buy me a return ticket on Singapore Airlines Suite Class between Melbourne and KK every month. Must not be a redemption ticket as i want to earn Krisflyer miles for all the flights i am going to take. And yes. I can cook but no guarantee it's edible laugh.gif Ah, and extend me a supplementary MBB VISA Infinite. A credit limit of RM20k will do but you have pay off the amount charged to this supplementary yourself every month tongue.gif

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Apr 8 2013, 06:40 PM)
Last time I redeem MJ voucher they had a promo where we needed less than normal TP for redemption of vouchers, can't remember the details. It was discussed some time back when promo was on.
*
I was not aware of this. Hmm... gotta be more alert next time so to get the best return of my hard earned TP biggrin.gif
