QUOTE(miuk @ Jan 5 2013, 06:20 AM) Hmm? If for damping or spring setting that would be personal choice so cant compare. But ofcourse performance wise the roadholding is commendable even to a partial setup car.If about the noise ,couldnt comment n i think xai's one will be solved very soon. Faez, its not about the setting, its about resolving some unwanted noise from the suspension system..otherwise the performance is |

QUOTE(matkela @ Jan 5 2013, ed:36 PM) Amin, thank you for testing my car. Also for the chance to sit on your car. Ongweiping also for letting me hear your Titan sounds. Not a problem uncle.. Sharing is caring maa.. Yup.. I think your rear abs ones need to tone down the damping so that it can match with the ori spring rate.. |

QUOTE(matkela @ Jan 5 2013, 05:25 PM) i have set up an appointment to be at Titan coming Monday morning, 7th of January. maybe or maybe not...it might came out better.. try it out.. no worries.. i could/may probably lose some handling traits if i were to tone down the damping but a more silent drive from unwanted noise is absolutely required reduction of damping around 20% to 25% i think ... tell them when u go over bump the rear spring does not elongate back fast enuf in time.,. so we can say that the damping is quite high for the rear oem spring. front i feel ngam oledi.. |

QUOTE(matkela @ Jan 7 2013, 04:19 PM) After installation, did my third reset n tuning for rear suspension today at Titan. Syukur glad to hear that Came home half hour ago, gug glug thud noise much much reduced. So far ( only 25 km) so good. Titan changed pistons again. Sorry no picta, but Richard showed the loose black rubber?? rings on the pistons. He told me those rings cannot be loose. I asked for 20% reduction in damping rate, he showed me how he twisted the piston head around its circumferential axis ( sorry a bit difficult to explain, so i impressed u all with my Queen's English tho that sounded too technical). The idea is to adjust oil+gas flow, thereby adjust damping. Still early, the suspension needs lots of roads and days yet to say that the unwanted noise issue is settled. Again, thank you Amin hopely the not suppose to be loosed rubber ring and the reduction in damping should minimize and eliminate the unwanted sound.. i think the loosed rubber is just a one off case.. as per discussed, the rear spring was too soft for the initial titan damping setup. i do feel that if u reduce the damping the handling suffer a bit but the damping must match back to the spring rate. i assume that the idea of titan set the damping that way is the make sure user will feel the difference straight away and it is not an operational issue. we need to continue giving feedback to them as i think this GB is the first partial setup for Inspira installed by them. later if u feel that u wanna have a bit stiffer ride, i suggest u use back your aftermarket sport spring which i presume is a bit stiffer than the the oem spring. the journey never ends |

QUOTE(matkela @ Jan 7 2013, 05:00 PM) My aftermarket sports spring lowers the car too much for my liking, i may try tho. kih kihkih... money is exhaustible resource... Agreed, the journey never ends, but... the money is exhaustible. but not too worry, titan can adjust back the height .. if u want to use it la.. but compare to the previous oem setup, how do u feel now with the handling? better cornering? less rebound of the car? may share? |

QUOTE(k00Lric @ Jan 9 2013, 10:25 AM) Bro Amin, i had the tananbe springs with stock abs for almost 2 years. The initial performance was good but that has shorten the life span of the stock abs. So currently the car felt lembut on corners and bouncy when crossing the yellow stripes. oh.. it seems that the stock abs almost kong edi. #095# |
