QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 25 2012, 09:14 PM) Original you are assured of quality and is more expensive also due to it is branded This reminds me of people who spent hundreds on a HDMI cable... a cable is a cable, especially since Lightning is also digital. What would be the worry is that the cable won't last as long but my Apple 30-pin has already died while third-party cables from Griffin and RM 10 cables still going strong. Non original you buy at a risk of sub standard quality - will it spoil your phone while charge ? Will it sync properly with your PC ? All these possible issues you just need to evaluate whether is worth the risk for RM 40 savings ? If you are concerned, do not use generic type Anyway I have been using generic ( not Apple original) cables since the first iphone/ipad and has been using it through to ip3, 3s, 4 , 4s and ipad 2, new ipad - I do not have any issues. I got this generic for the first iphone and at that time I needed one urgently as spare and just pick it up at Spore . That period of time iphone was still new and there was no original for sale yet. I used it to charge . The original I keep it connected to my iMAC for syncing purposes Infact for the new iphone 5, I am using also a generic type ( bought in Spore ) together with ipad mini as same situation original not available yet for sale on day one the ipad mini was on sale. It works well with the ipad mini and the iphone 5 . Will it spoil my iphone 5 - seriously no idea Are Cheap iPhone 5 'Lightning' Cables And Adapters Any Good? |

Received my bumper today and a bit disappointed with it. Well, pictures first.
Package from Florida. No tracking number unfortunately. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Bumper with a printed thank you note. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Bumper on the phone, screen side up. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Rear of the phone with bumper. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The bumper has metal buttons for the power and volume buttons like the Apple bumper for iPhone 4/4S and a cutout for the silent switch. The bumper has a slight lip so the screen and back won't touch any surface. The bumper is a mix of polycarbonate and rubber which blends seamlessly and is pretty nice. It fits well and doesn't look cheap (it isn't anyway!). Now the bad part. When I received the bumper, the bottom was crooked but straightened itself out when I put it on the phone. Unfortunately the cutouts at the bottom ARE a bit crooked, I am not sure if they are meant to be like that or mine is just flawed. Usual cutouts for headphone jack, microphone, Lightning connector and speaker. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « My power button works fine but the volume buttons didn't until I put some Scotch magic tape to thicken it up. My friend's black bumper has no problems except the volume down button is sticking out too much. The silent switch is hard to access but I assume most bumpers are like that. I find the bumper thickens the side of the phone so now it feels awkward to hold but I haven't had a case on my 3gs before so it could just take getting used to. The bumper works fine with my cheap Capdase screen protector from Machines. Now I eagerly wait for my Spigen SGP Linear Ex Slim Metal case and Ultra Crystal screen protector. Anyone want to buy this orange bumper off me? This post has been edited by secondrate: Dec 27 2012, 06:14 PM |

QUOTE(zuying1985 @ Dec 28 2012, 09:09 AM) LOL! My tracking screen is exactly the same as yours Added on December 28, 2012, 3:47 pm QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Dec 28 2012, 09:31 AM) It does look nice la but since its 2 piece which you must push onto the phone, I've read that the case can come off the phone by itself. I went with the Linear series, just clip on. But no silicone layer to cushion the phone and the clips can break and become useless also. This post has been edited by secondrate: Dec 28 2012, 03:47 PM |

What is this OEM you guys keep mentioning? OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer. Who is the OEM for Spigen SGP? Don't you guys mean fake products?

Just took off my Capdase screen protector because the fingerprints and streaking looked terrible. The oleophobic glass screen just feels so much better. I guess the only way to get that feel with protection is Glas.Tr.
