I dunno abt the 3D version but the 2D :
Need for Speed bd
seems like dont hv Eng subs..
Its one of the bug bears of buying frm AMZ.DE - they remove the Eng subs .. Other than tat - well .... sum titles are cheaper and if you 'kumpul' - then you can actually save on shipping [standard.. anyway]

You need to check..

Some of de bigger studios still include eng subttls [ or prbbly they dont bother to remove it for the german version.. ] ; same wif eng audio especially if its not an eng speaking ttl..

As for me.. most of the time , lll just yank up de volume and my centre spkr [ a floorstndr - no less ] will handle most dialog tat de subttls - compensates

They are more adventuruos now in coloring de casing.. I only used to have a green Hulk bd tat was different.. Now got green, red, black, white.. etc.. l even saw a pink one not too long ago..

Editted : No , its rgn B locked.. [but l have a pioneer 450 set at rgn B .. ]

I hv also, a region free oppo bd80 n anthr rgn A-locked 105 which lll play around depending on wat rgn bds l wanna play..
Yes.. u hv to hv a rgn free player or at least anothr rgn B player to fully utilise wat the world has to offer - in de long run, you ll get back wat u invest in it [ rgn free player .. is not cheap ] by de savings in buying a cheep rgn-b bd

I have another Dune Prime - but tats spoilt due to a bad lens [ well.. at least l can't find a replacement lens kit for it.. ; my bd80 was up-the-wagon too but aftr changin a new lens, now works great..]
Yup.. sadly, decent stuff always is never cheap in Malaysia.. get d 450, its not a bad player..

I doubt tats de case... as l alternate between all my players so each is not taxed too much..
Anyway.. l buy gear - to last .. durability is important to me .. l don't mind paying more for tat feature..
my first bdp was de 'fat' ps3 n tat died just past one yr [aftr warranty] changed de lens n its working again but decided its best being a game console n not bdp..
I dont believe laser lens gear will conk faster if left unused - its lite source based so how can using it more make it last longer - tink abt it.. even regular bulbs have a 'life' - if its lasts long to you - just means you are lucky.. IMO la..

My bdp80 was my 2nd bdp n it lasted ard 4/5 years before de lens started gvng prblms [ard last year] sourced de kit from de net n got it changed locally [ tat was late last year ] ; lets see how long it lasts..
l oso got an xtra spare lens plus one for de 105 too - just in case..
[aftr all.. shpng gets cheaper for each as u get more... LOL ]

For tat experience.. lll tink twice abt sony bdp.. no matter how great de rvws..
My experience is Oppo's not bad, my pioneer dvdp's were pretty decent too - lets see how long de 450 lasts.. [unfortunately, it can be a little picky on playing certain discs..]

Slipcovers ..

Are normally issued for the first print of a title.. meaning its limited edition - subsequent prints of the bd will not have de slipcover . Hence , why you seldom see it being with an older title..
But sometimes, a title is re-mastered and tis can be considered a new issue [depends on the studio.. ] and it will come wif slipcvr.. [maybe wif different artwork or it could be the same ..]
Pls also note tat if a title is not very popular and sellers still have the first print, older ttls will still come wif slpcvrs..
Tis shld hold for both sides of the atlantic ..
