QUOTE(HarshRalf @ Dec 24 2012, 09:09 PM) juz bought from titiwangsa promo at tasik titiwangsa yesterday... for simple task it's pretty smooth but it couldn't handle great graphics game due to it's quite weak gpu.. i've tried dead trigger it's smooth on scrolling part but the graphics rendering is not as good.. but the screen is really good thanks to it's ips display and 8MP android phone for RM799 that's hard to find and takes decent shots for me.. if you're not much into games i would recommend it to you or if you're into games go for p1 or d1 quad since d1 quad is cheap and quite a benchmark champion and better performance than tegra 3 at least on the paper Whats the promotion price? What free gift included?

QUOTE(QWERTYUIOP12 @ Dec 24 2012, 01:41 PM) What's wrong with the RAM? S advance did has the same amount of ram and still will got jellybean update. That is the good thing about the established brand, they announce the JB schedule. What about this Huawei?

QUOTE(puchongite @ Dec 24 2012, 06:20 PM) Haha titiwangsa mall ? Why ? Don't they go to lowyat plaza or PJ digital mall ? Can't find any shops selling Huawei in both of the places above. I guess I just did not know enough .... Not Titiwangsa Mall lah....The venue was taken at Titiwangsa Lake. What about this Huawei? emmm...I don't know since they make the UI fully customized with android ICS characteristics, I think it will cause a complication if the phones are upgraded to jellybean. sometimes upgrading to newer os doesnt mean it will perform better. i rather wait alittle while after they fix the bugs of the new os before updating unless my current os has a serious problem.

If that is what their rep telling you, then it is obviously a lie. Others with customized ui can happily move to JB.

Agree with you but do Huawei has a good record when it comes to firmware update? I hope they are not like LG.

If it is, then I can see Huawei as a very clear option than a small fish like CSL and Ninetology. What do you think bro? At least in term of brand, Huawei has a lot better image than those two local re-brand phone.

Im not so worry abt the updates later. I have been comparing these 2 hp :CSL Mi 501 & Huawei Ascend G600. Both have almost the same specs except the display size and type and cam res. G600 has higher RAM which is 768MB vs 512 in mercury. G 600 has 4.5" IPS QHD vs 5" normal LCD. Off coz Huawei is much stronger in their product support and development. So i might choose G600 at the end...

If I were you I would go for G600 as well. Some seller even sell it at rm688. It is just too bad that the screen is not 5".

The screen of G600 is superior and sharper than mi501 since I own G600 and my father own mi501 so i did a direct comparison.. the IPS screen is vivid and i think the screen size is just nice for me because i have fairly small hands since i came from a 4.1 inch screen phone..

Agree with you on the visual quality. Should be better than that of the CSL Mi501. BTW, what is the name of your 4.1" phone?

How about the smoothness of the G600 screen compare to mi 501? Can the G600 handle the games like dead trigger smoothly?

QUOTE(wkchia @ Dec 25 2012, 10:44 PM) How about the smoothness of the G600 screen compare to mi 501? Can the G600 handle the games like dead trigger smoothly? Since G600 screen resolution is higher than Mi501, I hazard a guess that the fps is a bit lower than the Mi501. Meaning Mi501 should be a whisker ahead.
