 BEWARE OF DOGS a.k.a BEWARE OF LEGEND SS2, sucks a big time~!!!

ok guys, this is my story about Legend SS2 a.k.a D' Legend LCD & Hifi Sdn Bhd at PJ, SS2. I open this topic because of their bad, veri-baaaad-damn service that they gave to my family & me. This happened on last November. The chronology is a bit like this :

1. After 10 minutes wondering in the shop & looking2 at the LCD/LED TV section (while some other staff just looked at us liked "arghhh..just a young Malay couples, want to romen2 inside oni..") then i was approached by this salesperson named Hao - he's quite nice & entertained (but sometimes his jokes is a bit kasar to me & wifey, but nevermind, its just fine to us)

2. Bought frm them some electrical appliances like LED TV, air purifier, ceiling fan & some other stuffy - it cost me around RM5k+ & i'm paid cash.

3. All the stocks came on time - no problemo. Just this 1 last item - the ceiling fan, it needs an installation (this is where the sucky story started)

4. Earlier, the contractor for the installations already made a confirmation date to me over the phone (forgot his name, but he will become the bad man in this story biggrin.gif ). As the appoinment left 1 more day, he called me again & telling me that he is very sori cannot come as his staff want to have Deepavalli feat Awal Muharram combo cuti & set it to the another day - its ok for me as i'm a veri tolerate & flexible person)

5. After a while, day by day gone, hujan panas, hujan panas..they still not come, until day 10 and get sooo frustrated because i've got nobody frm the shop to call me n told anything, then i decided to give them a phone call & ask for Ah Hao - my salesperson.

6. He then replied "Wah~! ohmy.gif belom pasang lagi ka??" sweat.gif ..... & he felt sori for that & set a new date for me & like before, its also fine with me - but this fella totally forgot & dont have any track-record for his customer.

7. As promised for a veri 3rd time, the day has arrived - but arrived with a phone call ..he cannot make it at 12pm..so change to 6pm - NO PROBLEMMO ALSO~ but just until 8.30pm i received another phone call frm him "boleh saya datang sekarang ka? sudah mau sampai" rclxms.gif

8. He came with his assntnt - an Indonesian guy. The job has done within 30min only - not they are good with it, but they are suck with it - especially the boss, soooo kelam-kabut..because why? want to hurry & get back home quick! Even his stairs was left behind in front of my door!! icon_idea.gif - luckily i kept it well & let them took it back the next day.

9. The Darkside Part : The next day (the same day as they took back their stairs) after office hour, i came back home, laying on sofas & wanna rasmi my new fan. Suddenly after 20min baring-baring, the fan slowly stop & i started to smelled something burned & yeah ladies & gentlemen...it was my brand-newly-freshly-installed-last-night fan!! vmad.gif

10. I quickly called Ah Hao & complaints about it - he told me that the KDK brand is quiet impossible to teared up easily. He then called KDK center & said they will send their man to my house icon_question.gif

11. After 2 days, the KDK man came..1st thing he wanted to see is the old ceiling fan speed regulator-frm there he can guessed where is the main fault. the KDK man was absolutely right! the previous kelam-kabut contractor skip 1 part of the installation process ; to deactivate the old switch regulator. This step is all was stated as CAUTION section in the installation book - how come the so-called contractor / wireman did not aware about this?? & yeah, i was paid for their service.. sweat.gif

12. The KDK man & me then call Legend SS2 & ask for their manager. We told all about the matters happened bla,bla,bla & he just replied "Yiu kasi bayar sama itu org dulu bole ka?nanti resit bagi sama saya, saya bayar yiu". The best part is the manager never told me that he is sori or anything - what a good customer service! thumbup.gif

13. I paid RM60 for the mainboard replacement - the mainboard was totally fried! thx to the expert Legend SS2 contractor!!

14. (This is the part that i will never forget in my whole life) The next day i came to the shop to met the manager for claiming back my money. The old manager still not make any apology to me at all instead he said "sudah, sudah, settle Aarr..ok,ok.." plus giving me his belagak face vmad.gif

15. Then i get back home, keep calm & bersabar until today i got a little free time to tell all of u this "ARMAGEDDON SIGN" from PJ, SS2.

The Dogs are inocent.
My 3 dogs and even the stray dogs are adorable, cute and faithful.

It is the dam contractor's fault.
Legend in this case is not Customer centric.

But please dont blame the dogs. Cheer.

You should source own contractor. I buy lots of things from them all I can say good service. Deliver in time, price very reasonable, so far lowest from all the shop I compare. I only buy from them, installation done by my own electrician.

They help me call Panasonic when the fan was first install and wobble problem.

Yeah the contractor/wireman are not from their own shop. They also source it out.

That was my 1st time there, & its also describe my 1st expression to them..

Even though u said the wireman / contractor is out sourcing, but they are saying, "their staff - their worker"

So i assume the wireman / contractor is all their staff - and Ah Hao also mentioned me that those contractor were working them for a veri long time, even got some titles over there like "uncle-uncle level" haha~

btw thx for your guys tips - better have our own wireman that we can fully trust thumbup.gif

lot of people already knew bout legend ss2 bad reputation..they r legend for bad reputation..huhuhu
why dun google first which elctrical shop serve the best ...anyway thanks coz sharing ur experience..

Agree with D-Legend service, I m once of the victim, the sales person not the fault but the contractor, but now the sales person going bad attitude and give for higher price compare others, and with gangster face.
as my bad experience is air con installation. they give to sub-con to install, same story as above, confirm the date and time, end up din come, postpone and postpone,still ignore. WTF. end up come. with 2 stupid contractor, rushing ,simply drill without asking where is the place to install. break my wall with huge hole,simpply install and cabut. the hole simply put the white cement cover. now, in here, we should raise out and boikot dlegend let them close the shop

i know not even a single shop is perfect, but i can tell, once there is a bad service provided by tat particular shop, just ignore it & go to the others, which means tat own boss also cannot teach them well, how to get more business & good reputation build up?

once again, as what i know, if u buy in those big chain stores, once u complain tat person, tat person will b warned by the superior, once again & again, he or she will get zack by automatically...

D'Legend is damm awesome, awesome in throwing prices and then tell you no stock ... kena that day also ...

Now i see what i like or need then i will scout for cheapest place with stock availability

actually 1st impression is very important for 1st time customer... customer always try their luck but not every 1 has good luck in their goods purchased. i'm consider a fussy buyer bcoz i not rich & i save money for a long time just to get whatever i want to buy. so after sales services is important to me. da latest item i bought at pj ss2 happy household is my 47 inche lg la7400, so far i hav checked it is newly arrived from lg as they claim it send directly from lg malaysia to their shop. so from the tv options it proves tat the time consuming is '0' when i 1st on my tv.

d legend ss2 is damn sucks, better happy household few steps away.

d legend will quote you cheaper price, then play drama afterward saying this and that, like oh that price is without delivery, etc..

giving me old model outdoor unit some more.

damn untrusted shop.

Recently i prefer go to Harvey Norman (when the got sale) & now i already got my own contractor/wiremen, fiewww~

Shop wisely & make a little research before go buying to some new shop.

I'm quite agreed with you bro, nothing is perfect. As a retailer, we can't really control the quality of products sold as we are not manufacturers, so sales and after-sales services play vital role to retain customers. Some consumers are just simply be attracted by those "super-low prices quoted", but ended up with frustration. All of us are consumers, even retailer itself too, we all must remind ourselves that price is not the only issue that we should concern, do our own research before purchasing something(s).

Effective feedback is 2-way communication, we as a retailer, we listen to customers, accept the complaints and always try our best to improve customer satisfaction. For those who did deal with me and felt dissatisfied, you are welcomed to give feedback, I'm willing to listen and improve.

Last week, i bought a Hitachi fridge at D'legend your outlet in Old Klang Road. I've informed the girl that my sister will be the one who receive it on sunday during the delivery because i wont be around. On the same day, when i reached home at night, i saw the bottom glasses of the fridge is not balance at all. I made a call back to the outlet within 24 hours about the problem that i had. She agreed to change the whole door for me. I'm fine with that as long as she got my problem fixed. I was expecting their call to arrange time with me but after 2 days still non of them call. I made a call back again and this time she told me she will change a brand new fridge for me. Before i could agree so, i noticed besides the bottom part, the upper door also having the same problem. I was so disappointed to encounter all this with my brand new fridge. I have lost the confident in Hitachi. Since it was not even a week getting it, i told her i would like to change to a different model. She rejected my request. I understand that i could not simply change a product once everything comfirm but as you know i did not want this to happen too. The fact is, i really doubt on this product. I'm not start using it, and how could i have a confident for my future use? I was not asking for a refund. This would sound unreasonble to you. All i want is just a brand new fridge from different model. She again assure me the new one will not be having any problem at all. Honestly, you can not guarantee in this way. Your customer is having doubt on Hitachi, you insist telling me the new one will not be having any problem? I bought the fridge to store my babies milk, shall i take risk on believing what she said so called guaranteed " no problem" ? if anything occur, will she taking full responsibility of it? She then direct me to ask a refund from Hitachi myself. You are selling Hitachi, and is it because you are just a dealer so your customer service could be this low? why create such a big hassle to your customer? all i want is just a brand new fridge now and i don't want to waste my time asking for a refund and search for another fridge at different shop. I hope you may take a correct and yet efficient action promptly before i seek for further solution from NCCC. This does not benefit both party. Thank you

I think you are giving feedback to wrong person. FYI, I am not part of the D'legend, I just give my points of view in this thread, there is no any relationship between D'legend and me, please be cleared on it. icon_rolleyes.gif

As I mentioned always, PRICE is not only the reason to purchase what you want from that particular resellers, but many of us sometimes still get attracted by the so-called LOW PRICES, end up get frustrated bcoz the quality in terms of products and services are not up to expectation.

I am not saying that I am good in every aspect as a retailer, however I am willing to get customers feedback and make improvements. Perhaps next time if you need any electrical appliances, you can just contact me. Cheers! thumbup.gif

I am also using a hitachi fridge.... when it came the doors was misaligned as well.... if i remember correctly, it was a quick fix..... hope ur misalignment is not a bad one... till today the fridge no issue.... btw i bot from d'legend.....

i too have encounter bad service from d'legend SS2.

1) went d'legend ss2 talk to salesman about price. given me a good price but told me need to charge me 2% for credit card.
2) then i just asked if you can waive the 2%, he told me to ask his manager or boss.
3) went to talk to manager (or might be boss) old and monkey face looking fellow. with rotten finger nail and cipet face.
4) asked "boss, can waive the 2% for credit card?". Stood there for 1min, he dint even look at me, no reply, nothing.
5) show me cipet face, pissed with the guy and i just walked off.

he can just told me that is the best price, as i dont really mind paying the 2% if he told me so.

wont be going back to the shop even its cheaper comparing to others

A big no no for this shop. We called it as 'black shop'.
Giving lower price for the item, in the end swap the item with older model, then after that expecting buyers are monkeys, as long as getting banana to eat then won't bother much. And even has salesman say the price is excluded GST, but actually is supposed included. The salesman and the boss are good in drama. When talk face to face, they are having different story. After sales service is very bad. And found that some of the person also taking back their broken items to return.

Bumping up this thread!

Bought a new AC with installation from them. Installer came and fixed badly - gas leakage!!! Called the shop and they called their installer which took their sweet sweet time to come and repair. After the repair, problem still persist!!!!

Called and they didn't want to come back and fix anymore! vmad.gif

Had to call another 3rd party AC installer which cost me rm250 as the inverter gas is expensive! vmad.gif vmad.gif

DEFINATELY AVOID THIS DAMN PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!!

bad product and customer service experience the same at SS2 D'legend


a) I said I want DC water heater, but sold to me AC water heater (Call and whatsapp no response, just accept my fate)
b) Installer for water heater broke the connecting pipe to water heater, only realised it later (Buy glue myself and glue back)
c) Another water heater, he forgot to installer the rubber at the connecting pipe. Water keep leaking (Buy new hose from Mr DIY)
d) New washing machine got error. Not even used before. Complained and they said will report to Hitachi. Waited like sohai no one from Hitachi call me. (Called Hitachi myself and turn out they never lodge report)
e) Shoddy work from their installer for aircond, the water pipe drop from the roof after merely one month

Maybe more problem as i have yet to use the fridge
