I want to ask there is a different between Singapore set & Malaysia set? Because I want to buy an iPhone 5 and I don't actually know how to differentiate between Singapore set & Malaysia set and what the advantages of having Malaysia set instead of Singapore's.

Local warranty. Singapore set means you can only claim warranty from Singapore. Malaysian iPhone, Malaysian warranty.

@zakwanzamri, The difference between the 2 sets are prices and the warranty. Apple only gives out local warranties for iPhone purchases.

lol i dont think a new thread is needed for this. too many new iPhone threads lately asking small issues like this. singapore set is exactly the same as malaysian set. both also officially unlocked. sg set more ex since knowing msia's retail price upon launching. warranty wise: sg set must be sent back to sg for warranty. perhaps apple store or telco. msia set warrantied locally, send back to telco, cos msia has no apple store. (not sure whether authorized reseller like machines wud accept warranty claims for the iPhone)

Difference is price and warranty. For singapore set, warranty cannot claim here as iphone is the only apple product that warranty is local d. So if ur iphone rosak, u need to send back to singapore to claim warranty. If u dun want to go through all the hassle, i suggest u get a malaysia set

Malaysia (Local Set) tend to be more value as once i sold off my Nokia 5800 they will immediately want my sets as when i told them it is from Malaysia. I do not know why? Was told that Malaysia sets is International warranty, if Singapore set then will be In Singapore only. Correct me if i am wrong.
