QUOTE(limeuu @ Dec 6 2016, 08:13 PM) they only discounted the smart and flex fares....not the lowest tier....which is still cheaper than the smart fare after 30% discount... which i am glad i redeemed. 55k miles return to syd and there is essentially no difference, as you cannot claim miles on redemption tickets.... this is not the first time they take their customers for fools... the only worthwhile campaign was the 50% discount to oz.... and good thing i refrained from converting during the recent 10% bonus miles promo. really facepalm see this "40%" redemption promo.. |

it was my first time taking long haul biz for MH and somehow i feel the A330 seats are not so comfy for sleeping. for upright and relax position, it is fine with good screen viewing angle and storage compartments. but once it comes to lying flat for sleeping, my legs will be stuck in the "hole" under the front seat. only can lie facing up. couldnt get as much sleep as i wouldve liked as i normally sleep on my sides.
not sure if it is just me or my height (180+) but i feel more comfy in AAX premium flatbed! |

not sure if this is news.
Petron Miles also can convert to Enrich at 4000 PM to 1000 EM. at current petrol price it means about rm2000 for 1000EM. Pretty good I would say but of cos it is not easy to accumulate. |

QUOTE(engtat @ Jan 4 2017, 07:10 PM) Not worth, 3000 PM = RM 45 Petrol the best. yes you have another point of view. of cos redeem petrol is most worth cos it is a petrol loyalty card after all.Consider you max out the EM value, Business / make full use of miles allowed at Zone 1, 2, 3... 1 EM probably worth RM 0.04 4000 PM only RM 40. i am just comparing it to, for example credit card accrual where non-premier cards like M2C Amex need 10600 points for 1000EM, which even if you spend all for 5x treatpoints, you still need to spend rm2120. |

wonder why when booking flight to Japan, the fare in Japan Airlines website is much cheaper than MAS for the same code share flight operated by MAS.
besides the disadvantage of not being able to web check in, any other catch? |

QUOTE(a16791 @ Apr 4 2017, 01:35 PM) Same for enrich redemption. Mas requires 110,000 points vs Jal 96,000 redeem through one world. ya. not sure how code share works. i had called up MAS to ask and the operator could only say "maybe there is fare class difference".Even for business class ticket Jal only charge Rm 5,200 return compare to mas which is much more higher during non promo period. and regarding web check in, he said I will receive 2 booking numbers, 1 for JAL and 1 for MAS. which clearly wasnt the case. I only received 1 booking number for JAL. |
