QUOTE(Gen-X @ May 1 2014, 10:04 AM) Below is part of what I just posted in my Facebook Page: I have like 30,000 Reward Points with my HSBC VS. HSBC claim they have the best Enrich Miles Redemption at 3000 Reward Points = 1000 Enrich Miles. Therefore, based on these figures, I should be able to redeem for 10,000 Enrich Miles. I asked the CS rep to redeem all the points to Enrich Miles, I was told that I could only redeem for 1000 Enrich Miles (and got to do it online)!!! I am really pissed off with HSBC and I am seriosuly considering to cancel my HSBC VS soon. On another note: will there be an Enrich Mid Year Sale this year? HSBC Credit card rewards are pretty crap, and the conditions annoying. Eg. Lounge access limited to certain amount of people (impossible to know what number has been reached anyway) I haven't used my HSBC Premier MC for a long time, collecting dust at home! Not to mention need to spend RM12K for RM50 voucher which the last 2 times they sent me the wrong vouchers compared to what was requested online. Need to go to HSBC branch each time to return and credit the points. Didn't even bother last times as no HSBC nearby This post has been edited by rjb123: May 2 2014, 01:16 AM

QUOTE(Gen-X @ May 7 2014, 02:40 PM) Thanks for the info. Too bad the 30% discount this time is only for Asia Another thing is travel period must be on or before 31 July 2014 Yeah, I'd rather wait for the year end 50% sale for all trips if its coming. For flights within Asia I don't need Business class, and not really worth redeeming Enrich miles for Economy.

QUOTE(tigaxxx @ Jun 21 2014, 02:15 PM) we r talking about buying/selling points... it involves point transfer in order to sell/buy If you're using Maybank, can just keep the TP and transfer to other Enrich number direct And yeah, it's only really worth redeeming for long haul flights, especially business/first class

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Jul 7 2014, 02:49 PM) Yes, Maybank now only allow us to credit Enrich Miles into our own account. But we still can redeem tickets for others. Regarding this - I've transferred points from Maybank to several Enrich accounts that aren't mine - no problem. As recent as a few weeks ago.

QUOTE(PJusa @ Sep 5 2014, 11:27 AM) thanks - i called maybank and they told me i can only transfer into primary account holder's enrich account also. most of my spending is local - would i be able to pay with amex as easily as with visa? then it would be an interesting option. anyone can share their experience? Just do the online redemption, use your address for billing and delivery and enter whatever Enrich number as you wish. I've done this 4-5 times over the last year and it's gone through fine every single time.

QUOTE(herc @ Feb 10 2015, 01:18 PM) Oh ya, CX and KA need to check via their own website, using the same miles required in the table from AsiaMiles. I did try to search... like KrisFlyer.. always on waiting list. I read CX only releases seats for those claiming with miles quite close to the flight date - like 2 weeks before. So can't book far in advance

QUOTE(redbull30 @ Feb 19 2015, 02:52 AM) Hi all, I have 140k points in Qatar QMiles (Platinum) and 110k in Enrich (Gold). As they are both oneworld, I have sometimes claimed under each other (eg fly with MAS but the points goes to Qatar QMiles) but for this year I would like to focus on one. Which would be better for for me to accrue my upcoming miles? For 2015, I would be flying for about 130k miles. I also have about 400k of credit card points that I will convert to Enrich (6000 points to 1000 Enrich miles) when I need to. Thanks in advance for your advice. Can't comment on Qatar as I'm not familiar with the redemption rates. Which card is 6000 -to 1k enrich? I'd do the redemption soon if it's Maybank as the rates are changing on 1st May

QUOTE(QPheng @ Mar 12 2015, 11:40 AM) According to Maybank's website, Maybank 2 cards Reserve American Express, All Visa Infinite & Diamante Cards will not be affected by the devaluation for conversion to Frequent Flyer Programmes such as Enrich Miles, Asia Miles & Kris Flyer Miles, the conversion remains at 5,600 MR Points = 1,000 Enrich Miles, 4,500 TP = 1,000 Enrich Miles / Asia Miles / Kris Flyer Miles respectively. Whereby all other Maybank Cards issued by Maybank & Maybank Islamic ‐ Visa/MasterCard/American Express's conversion of TREATS Points to Asia Miles & AirAsia BIG POINTS remains at 7,000 TP = 1,000 Asia Miles/BIG Points and conversion of TREATS Points to Kris Flyer remains at 4,000 TP = 500 Kris Flyer Miles. Hope the above helps for those who yet to find the time to read the changes at Maybank's websites. I thought MBB Premier 4500 TP = 1K Enrich, not 5600? Anyway after a busy schedule (KUL > NRT > KUL > DXB > BCN > LHR > KUL) I enjoyed the last leg back to KUL in First Class thanks to Enrich miles (134,000 miles for one way) . Very spacious and comfortable seat on the A380, with only 3 of us in the 8 seat cabin. Got 8 hours sleep which is rare for me - I normally only manage to get a couple of hours in.

QUOTE(maskedchan @ Mar 12 2015, 12:00 PM) 5600 is correct because he referring to MR points, not TP Ah, got mixed up. Assumed he was talking about TP, didn't notice MR BTW, 134k was one way... LHR - KUL, not return. This post has been edited by rjb123: Mar 12 2015, 12:04 PM
