Hi guys,

needs some help from you guys on deciding the subwoofer wiring.

i have 2 units of 10" 4ohm sub (rated at 250W) and i am currently looking for an amp to power up the sub.

i have 2 choices of powering up the sub.

1. 300w x 2 at 4ohm which mean i power each individual sub with 300W

2. 750W x 1 at 2ohm which means i will parallel wire the sub to 2 ohm and use a monoblock to power up the sub

which would give a more ideal sound?

thanks guys....i have chosen my amp....went for the DLS A6

got it second hand for bout 1.8k....

the damping factor is not very high but it sound decent

i think at 2ohm, monoblock would still sound decent

i recently tried my friend's car who is running at 1ohm...he was boasting that his sub is dual voice coil and he ran both the sub parallel...and his american sound produce 3kW+ at 1ohm...the sound was terrible....everything was out of control even with such high power....maybe it was the setting but it just didnt sound right
