@limyuyang yes! using plastic sheets and bits from other kits and a broken floppy
drive parts. @acestoro thanks for visiting the blog! if you'll notice my builds take 1-3 months to complete as I also have very little time to work on my projects...I just need to practice patience. I think that is the most important thing |

I don't think I can finish my entry in time as my baby was just born last Friday. I will still finish the kit, but probably a month after the deadline >_< Sorry guys, I need to pull out of this group build...

No need to be ashamed pinkbull. This is a hobby meant for personal enjoyment, so just keep collecting and building whatever you want and Anyone who brags that they have an all B collection can just shove the entire collection up their @$$. I wrote an entire post on my blog regarding this, if you're interested --> Otaku On A Budget - Knockoff Your Socks Off

I already have the TT Unicorn, but I'm thinking of getting the FA kit so I can use the weapon set on my built Uni, and then build the extra Uni as a Banshee, with scratchbuilt weapons

Congratulations to the winners of the group build! Good effort by everyone, I hope I can participate in the next event!
Any pictures yet of the EXS upgrade kit? I was planning on modifying my EXS to resemble G Systems, but if there is an upgrade kit that looks nice then I can just use that instead! |

those Iron Man kits look fantastic! (at least in the preview pics), even if they are fixed pose these must be the cheapest Ironman 3 figures you can get at that scale..If I am mistaken, please share other options!
As for that gerbera tetra, it looks like its made of the same plastic as PC runners...soft and rubbery and nearly impossible to paint. and those yellow accents already look misshapen. meh. |

the plastic on that gerbera looks soft and oily and probably impossible to paint, even after heavy sanding. So many parts don't fit together properly, like the white part on the foot, its the wrong shape.

QUOTE(limfreelance @ Jun 14 2013, 08:33 AM) so now Chinaland invade to figma & revoltech territory lah. It's probably for height comparison rather than price, but this is good news indeed! I've been meaning to get some big cheapo ironman figures with near zero articulation for repainting, but if this comes out with a reasonable price then i'm in!eh?? standing bhide the age..mean same price with the age ka?? |
