QUOTE(TheEvilMan @ Jun 10 2013, 11:27 PM) what scale is this, and any good? since it's 9000+ yen and looks almost figma alike. and we get this -Main figure -Face parts x 2 types -Eyes x 2 types -Hand parts set -Gendo's glasses -Display stand QUOTE(TheEvilMan @ Jun 10 2013, 11:49 PM) so why is it 9000+yen It's used to be in the same line as these:according to MFC ppl cos it's Yamato, i know they are popular when i was still a kid but come on, this figure doesn't give me any wow...even the RAH saber have much wow than this http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIG-MOE-6838 http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIG-MOE-6735 http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIG-MOE-5514 Since Yamato bungkus, Arcadia seems to take over the product lines Not sure whether it's around standard price for 1/8 poseable figures in Japan; since most of pvc action figure of similar scale/size is around that price (actsta, cm corp action figures for example). And of course cannot compare with RAH Saber.. that one is 1/6 (Rei is around 1/7 or 1/8), and the price is double. Furthermore, since the character itself in the anime does not have much extra accessories when she's in the plugsuit |

QUOTE(TheEvilMan @ Jun 11 2013, 12:36 PM) No that's not what I mean.. since it's bigger, it will have to use more materials. And since it's bigger, some of the parts need to be more detailed too. Those added to the final cost of the figurine. Take also into account that the profit margin is calculated in percentage, so the higher the cost value is, the bigger the price difference after putting in the profit margin. |

QUOTE(TheEvilMan @ Jun 11 2013, 12:42 PM) got it, still it's overpriced compare to many other figure, Myth cloth which use lots of diecast, RAH which is bigger and use real clothing, miss those good old day when Spawn complete model only cost like less than rm100 when others easily rm100++ RAH's price is more expensive.. and RAH Rei (plugsuit) only comes with 2 sets of hands. Spawn used cheaper material, has lower articulation, plus back in those said old days, wasn't the MYR has higher value than now? |

Got meeting at 3pm; when I got off the meeting 1 hour later, PO at amiami sold out dy. When I check HS, it's still available and cheaper than amiami i was unable to enter the page for the past hour |

QUOTE(shrike @ Jul 13 2013, 12:01 AM) That's the disadvantage of HLJ. However, they are the most forgiving when it comes to cancelling orders. Amiami and Hobby Search are quick with the banhammer if you have to cancel something without a very good reason. Coz Nakano is the branch that manage Mandarake's online shop (as well as their HQ).As for Mandarake, not all their stores are equal. Nakano is definitely the best store of them all, hands down. Fastest response, helpful staff, quick processing and delivery. Complex (Akihabara), Grandchaos and Umeda are decent as well but you should expect to wait 2-3 days for order confirmation. Be a bit careful with Fukuoka though, they aren't the most fluent in English so be wary of miscommunication. |
