I have just finished my SPM about a week ago.So now here I am in a major crossroad of my life and whatever I do now will have far-reaching effects in my future.
The followings are somethings which I am not very sure...
1. I came across some Pre-U programmes such as form6,Malaysian matriculation,A-level,Australian matriculation,
foundation,South Australian matriculation and many more. What is the different between all these Pre-U
programmes?
2. I don't know which career suitable for me. Thus, i really can't make a decission in choosing a course (ex: engineer, business, account or...). This is the main problem that i am difficult in choosing a program of pre-university. Is that any program that i no need choose a specific course (ex: engineer, business, account or...) now but can make a decission after my pre-u program??
Thousand thanks in advance

Hi love,
I was exactly in your shoes 7 years ago!
Form 6 - DONT WASTE UR TIME HERE, ITS 1.5 YEARS, and chances of you getting in is low, unless your SPM results are of flying colours. And most overseas countries doesnt recognize this paper, therefore its hard to get into overseas University.
A-level (aka Australian matriculation) - Another 1.5 years of Pre-U, which is recognized by Australia. Most Australian universities will look for this certificate.
International Canadian Pre-U (ICPU) - 1 year & it is reconized by Canada / EU / UK & Australia Universities! I took this course and never regret for once, it shortens up my whole pre-u to bachelor degree length, so that I can start to earn big bucks out there

Taylors Univeristy College offers a wide range of Pre-U to degree courses + twinning (where you spend your final year in a twin university oveaseas)

Basically you dont have to worry abouot what to study for your Pre-u, they have already allocated all the essential subjects for you, which are required by the respected countries. Well, to me, a business degree is something common sens and boring, engineer only if u can handle the tremendous stress & only if you are PASSION about it...... FYI, accountants have boring life, they work from 8am-12AM in KL, NO LIFE.. I recommend sales/ marketing / science degree, which is more practical and where you can earn big bucks.
This is how I ended up:
SPM -> Taylors ICPU (1 yr) -> Deakin University Australia, Bachelors degree in Health Science & Nutrition (3 years) -> Back to Malaysia -> Found a pharmaceutical job (sales) -> earning big bucks right now! $_$
