Besides that, the main pro is it might be lighter (assuming your 17 is normal ones, not those lightweight ones). So it will improve your acceleration & fuel consumption a little.
The con is smaller foot print and less stiffness so will have less grip and it might not look as nice.

Btw in order to maintain about the same diameter, you should use 205/60/15 instead.
