QUOTE(blacktubi @ Dec 24 2012, 01:47 AM) Whole Malaysia every Kampung sure got school. at least they are smart, using school as base station This is really fakap, MoE still need to pay them for the Frog VLE. + their network is highly firewalled, many content filtered. What really pickup my concern is the next gen need to live with those high TX antenna almost everyday and no need to worry anymore about coverages when launching TD-LTE ,.. |

QUOTE(V-Zero @ Dec 24 2012, 06:25 PM) Gonna jump ship from landline to Maxis BB soon. u confirm get more than 2Mbps for sure,Already got the sim, now waiting for my E398 and panel from blacktubi. Got 2mbps I happy already. If 2Mbps, consider is maxis down time, tower issue, or something bad happen then we might get lower than 2Mbps,. |

QUOTE(LittleGhost @ Dec 25 2012, 04:22 PM) So basically in my case, there are two "towers/cell blocks", if I increase my RSSI i would be connected to the "lousier" block in comparison to a "better" block by having weaker RSSI? it is all on congested level on the tower u connect, EDIT: In short I'm f***ed for investing on the panel? |

QUOTE(krayz_underground @ Dec 25 2012, 05:14 PM) Sierra 320u no more. maxis just did load balance, so it is very hard to break certain speed barrier Now using E398. Bought from Blacktubi. Bear in my I'm in Cyberjaya. Nearby LHDN signal level -55 dBm RSSI See below for my speedtest : ![]() Can't get above 15 mbps even like some of the forumers has pointed out. Added on December 25, 2012, 5:15 pmBy the way back to the LTE screenshot, I've tried to enable LTE only on my modem. Seems that the modem unable to hook to the LTE network.. Yet.. hehe, can't wait. |

QUOTE(opteron82 @ Dec 25 2012, 05:29 PM) signal very good. maxis LTE server Max = 32Mbps ? LTE connection. But you connect to maxis bad server. You try test at different IP. even you use LTE. now maxis server limit max 32Mbps. so you max speed no different with DC-HSPA. if like that, better use DC_HSPA+ This post has been edited by chuahcs79: Dec 25 2012, 05:31 PM |

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Dec 25 2012, 06:58 PM) E372 is still a legendary modem which I highly recommend and I like the small profile. yeah like mine, accidently break the top part of the modem mobo,.It always follow me no mather where I go. Easy to be tweaked and configured. +E372 can do heatsink mod = super stable modem then added heatsink, it beat my zte mf680 hands down with the panel |

QUOTE(LittleGhost @ Dec 25 2012, 07:26 PM) why would I bother learning engineering from an art school? it is all base on the congested level of the cell tower u are connected to,.Anyway, jibberish aside, consider the following: 1) RSSI figure at this point determines what I am connected to. 2) High RSSI = shit tower A Low RSSI = good tower B 3) I just need to find a good way to get: High Rssi = Good tower A? Amirite? every area, every cell tower it is different,. not necessary it is senerio number 2,.. |

QUOTE(ralph_lauren @ Dec 25 2012, 09:40 PM) Maxis mostly anywhere also got signal ...I juz wanna get a modem that can utilize my maxis speed only...currently getting 16mbps out of 21mbps of my modem..... your area single channel device also get so high speed,so it is worth to invest to get LTE if u have higher budget or if lower budget = 42Mbps DC-HSPA+ Added on December 25, 2012, 10:04 pm QUOTE(maxcheam @ Dec 25 2012, 09:39 PM) well our malaysia LTE is 1800/2600MHz right ? our panel = 900 & 2100MHz though This post has been edited by chuahcs79: Dec 25 2012, 10:04 PM |
