Sounds like a dead battery. I would go get a new battery or ask Samsung to replace if it is still under warranty.

time on less than 1 hour and 26% drop within 6 hours to 74%, that's still consider okay, cuz its already quarter of the
day and only dropped till 74%

but still not as good..

perhaps there are some apps running in the background. did you install apps like viber, skype or any type of messenger apps?

your awake high, use "better battery stats" app check the partial wakelock and kernel wakelocks to see which app causing it, you can get the app free from xda forum, google it

Yeah this is odd. My partial wakelock's top percentage shows sometimes NoLED (screen notification) and 3G Watchdog. But these 2 apps I've been using for a very long time!

I'm in the office now and charging via USB and it can't even hold a charge! I whatsapp a little and check the time a little bit yet it takes forever to reach 1% increase in battery, in fact it is going down! shakehead.gif

8am - 11.30am: Batt at 58% from 100% in about 3 hours!
Minimum usage, whatsapp and 1-2 quick calls... most of the time on idle.

well could be that you changed some settings? or there's a new update to the app? anyways 3g watchdog is famed for causing wakelocks on older versions

3g watchdog also allows you to set the interval where they will automatically off your data

Yeah that's true. I guess I just like that they have a widget that I can easily see how much I've used. blush.gif

3g watchdog is not accurate unless you use it to manually turn it on/off yourself. if you rely on settings then the readings is off. i tested it with 3g watchdog, mdm and another app with firewall (i forgot the name).
