HI,

I've been using Falken ZE912 for my vios 14" Rim.
Changed 3 times pass 3 years.

The last change quality so worst compare few years back.
So noise n bumpy make me though is my car problem...

Now start BOTAK and need to change already.
Read the forum mostly recommend XM2, Yoko Cdrive2..

I travel bout 100km every day (highway average 110km/h)
Which brand and model recommended?

prefer price rm200+- ..

TQ

falken ze912 is not for comfort drive since it mean for performance drive..
plus ze912 is a cheap tire for performance type of tyre...

Yoko C drive2 is stand between Comfort and Performance..

i only tried ze912 and Cdrive2 on my previous Gen2..and for performance indeed i love ze912 more since better grab while raining..
thats why need sacrifice comfort to archive better performance.

my experience with ze912 is very noisy but not bumpy like what u said...maybe becoze i just change all absorber?
usually cruise my Gen2 at 130km-170km with great driving experience...

if u got enuf money can buy those ALL season performance and comfort tyre but unfortunately usually those tyre comes with 16INCH min..
Totally agree with u. No problem on raining (heavy 1) using ze912.. even 80km/h at super duper heavy rain..
(slow down becoz cannot see the screen not becoz of tyre)

i think going to try xm2 .. anyway, depend the tyre shop offer me which can get good price..

because on dry grip and NVH c drive 2 is much better.

wet grip is very subjective as neither are performance tires.
however i've ran my car over 170-180 km/h under wet in straight lines on MEX highway before and around 130-140km/h on corners also at MEX highway (not very sharp, around nirvana area) under heavy rain.

don't take my word on it and try it out yourself as these are rather dangerous moves and neither c drive 2/xm2 are performance tires.
don't want to take the blame on causing accidents (or worse, fatalities) for providing tire feedback.

however my point is that c drive 2 are good on grip/NVH, albeit not so good on pricing (there are cheaper tires no doubt) and treadwear (very soft compound)
i've mentioned before that in tires, you can't have everything, between pricing/grip/NVH/treadwear, you take your pick.
eg: tires like goodyear eagle f1 as2 you can prolly have all grip/nvh/treadwear, however go figure out how much it cost per piece smile.gif
