One of the pastor very wierd one..got one time he purposely locked my fren in the church. My fren yell for help..he outside pretended not to hear. QUOTE(eaglehelang @ Jan 23 2014, 01:54 PM) You were post in RWI abt existing members who are action, interested in their clique only?? i been there myself...hate those arrogant POS.If you are Christian, then I suggest attend a church with better hospitality dept, ie those in charge of new comers. They are supposed to intro new ppl to similar age group or field of work. If dont have, then home group leader who stay nearest to the new member. They are very clickish and very suspicious of newbies. A lot of double standards...if you are not one of them (meaning politically accepted)...they willl treat you like you dun exist. that is why i attend other church. I see they are much better than this one. The tmn billion one is as bad as city harveeeesssstttt. Watch out for those politically charge ones. If u experience inability to blend in..its time to go. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jan 23 2014, 02:09 PM) happened to me also lah when I was youth. wrong...don't be brainwashed.no big deal. the things is, you learn to change priority. when I was in youth, one of my concern was to find suitable friends to click with in Church. I faced the same problem like you. now I go to Church because of God, nothing else. then I learn to mix around, seeing If I can help whomever needs it. That way when you get your priorities right, God will open doors for you to step in. Soon you won't have this "clique" problem. Yes priority is god but if you don't feel belonged to a church, you will definitely burn out. Fellowship is very important. Of course no church is perfect but this tmn billion one is a piece of shiit. If there was a riot and people burn it down, i wouldn't feel sorry for it. In fact i will cheer it. I served in one music ministry...lots of politics. Ya know what the leader told me off, he accuse me of wanting to join to learn up the audio stuff so when i master it, i will leave and profit elsewhere. What he doesn't know that i've been paying his salary indirectly via my 10% offerings and this is how i get treated for volunterring to serve. He made me attend rehearsals for 5 hours a week. He and his cohorts refuse to teach me, even with my own initiative to ask, wasn't entertained by the click group. But there was another guy who belonged to his cg (krony), that new guy within 4 weeks is already in charge of the RM40k lighting system, video and sound later on. While i was there for 4 months doing nothing. After that, i quit. I complain to my friend who work full time at church. Apparently, even his ministry have come into loggerhead with this leader. Bottom line is, see the initial warning signs if the ministry/church don't seem right, don't continue. There are some satan infested people even in church. My fren at Ciiitttyy Harvvvvessssttt, served many years there, no doors was definitely open for him..why? It happened on the very day that when i attended a rally, they had some big shots comingfrom America, my fren forgot to greet them...and for that reason, he was given counselling and demoted. Outrageous. When i read the paper about KH and his wife apparent diversion of funds to her pop career, i wasn't surprise. If something is not right, bail out. There are many churches out there. I am sure you will find the right one. If you stay at unhappy church, even god open the door for you, you will not enter because by staying there, signafies your refusal to receive the open door. QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jan 23 2014, 04:36 PM) It really depends. there is no burden to be part of youth group. what possible thing you want to change? If you believe that God have given you this burden and you want to change the wrong things that's happening, then you should stay. If God is the one who appoint this, He will cover you in his grace so that you won't burn out because your focus is on him, no more on the Church. But if you don't have this burden, then move on lor. u won't burn out provided u r not human. |

QUOTE(Z1000 @ Jan 23 2014, 05:01 PM) bro, my church one leader play politics also. One day God gave the church head pastor a revelevation bout tis problem. The head pastor fired and kick out the leader in 48hrs. You must go church with anointing. Another guy in charge of another branch. God gave revelation tis guy not taking care of his family(means hanky panky stuft, like got want get mistress) or something. Boom the guy demoted to just cleaning the floor maninetance guy only. Now tis guy life finish. Must go church with anointing, man wont treat you right but God see your heart powerful towards him, he sure promote you one. This is what i call godly karma la..I tell you one story la...my fren very innocent one, he went to this church with good intention. Then one day, the youth pastor accuse him of going after girls, and told the other guys whom he gave preferential treatment to go after the girls to prevent outsiders like my fren from "polluting" their gene circle..wtf. My fren was so hurt, he was shock to be accuse of that but he kept quiet. One day this stupid buffalo pastor suffer some illness end up bedded in hospital. my stupid fren some more want to pray for his recovery. I told him, yes pray for his recovery, but make sure his suffering is prolong a bit longer, so he can feel my friend's pain and so that he can be humbled (pastor). This is right what, we want everybody to be blessed but we also want them to feel some prolong pain so they can learn from that. Remember the story of Joseph who was betrayed by his brothers, sold as a slave. Then Joseph became a successful minister in Egypt. When Canaanland had a famine, his brothers came to Egypt to beg for food, but they did not recognise Joseph. Joseph didn't immediately forgave them, he punish them first by inserting some stuff in thier baggage and accuse them of theft, he then imprisoned the eldest son (one of the main conspirators who sold Joseph to the merchant traders as a slave)... After his brothers panicked and worried, only then Joseph reveal his true self and gave them all the provisions he can. |

Insecurity, Emotional hurts, etc. How I don't get burn out? My focus is on God to provide me the strength. Like the tmn bilon one, the leader is damn blady rich POS. He get burden ah? Got one time he preach la, it is not good to be rich, you should humble your wealth before god...when he himself stay in a 7 storey mansion with luxury cars. Like i say, different church got differnt situation...i dunno yours. But i know that one, the leader conspire with the core leaders there, to give preferential treatment...treat the rest like nazi persecuting jews. |

QUOTE(eaglehelang @ Jan 23 2014, 06:51 PM) Top most priority is still God. To stay or leave a church, depends on God's will, ie what God wants us to you. God want us to stay, stay, God say leave, then leave. Sometimes God tells us to do difficult stuff but from there His grace, strength & wisdom is more for us to do the task/mission/work. Thats not the point, that rubbish wannabe church at Tmn Billion, is making focus on god first as a political excuse to sideline people they don;t like. THis way, they can place the people they don;t like in one corner and the people they like who get preferential treatment on another side. They are trying to hide their discrimination towards those they don't like under the premise of telling those people who make complains to forget about it to focus to god.I'm sure you have heard or read of God asking Pastors to take over problematic churches. Something like nobody want to take the big task but God telling them, go do, I your God am with you. They obeyed God & did. This is example from Msia ya. You might say this is full time, they called to minister, etc. But working outside the church also(marketplace), we are supposed to seek God as to career & major decisions. Now with this Allah thing going on, the most basic question is when time come, will we make a stand or get scared & dont dare go church? Fellowship, the socializing thing, depends on personality. I find it very tiring, read book or nowadays computer/smartphone better, no people bising2 give more stress. If leader lagilah. In Msia, many of us are 1st generation CHristians. We bring with us the 'old self' from previous religion. Churches also attract a lot of troubled people looking for love, joy peace, etc. End up, we see these weird characters around. Some people very sensitive one, sikit2 butthurtt. Anyway, the flawed nature of humans is why our focus should be on God, humans often times fail us. You don't get my point, u r ignoring the problem, but saying not to focus on men but god. U go read Paul's letters, he say all sorts of internal strife at his church. Got pretenders and even people backstabbing apostle paul. U think he just keep quiet and focus on god? No...he went on to write to tell the church people what to do with these pretenders and people who say bad things about him. In other words, Paul address the problem even when he was thousands of miles away from churches like Ladocea..Corinth...etc. Worse still those days no Pos Laju or Internet. Paper also scarce..with papyrus Paul still get his message through. 1st gen christians are much better than the 3rd gen christians. I hate 3rd gen christians because they act like they so elite...they just like Harry Potter's nemesis...who don't like those wizard's who r 1st gen, call them "mudblood". The problem at Tmn Billion church is that they r focusing on discrimination n pre judgement on other people. Somebody should take a swipe at them and after that allow godly karma to take its course. I pray that the slimy church won't grow. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jan 23 2014, 09:30 PM) Even if you are not rich, one of the blessings of being a Christian is that you won't have to feel any worry or burden about life. U say like it is so easy ah.Because God is the one who will provide. Many Christians have found and live out this blessing. But people who don't know God, will naturally to get worried in life. U think Satan is not the cunning wolf? U don't tell me nobody hurt u before ah? I know we can overcome..through jesus but i hate it when churchleaders use this as a reason to shut out dissent and not address problems at church. |

QUOTE(eaglehelang @ Jan 24 2014, 10:57 AM) Aiyoo, I'm talking life in general, first & foremost is always God. Because a lot of people backslide when leaders fall, when their leaders sin, they feel discouraged, disillusioned & dont come to church anymore. That shouldnt be the way. Yeah la aiyo aiyo some more. What i mean is if you feel the church is not suitable because they r deutchbags, split la. There are 1000 churches in Klang valley why u gotta hang around with deuchbags?I'm not ignoring the problem, one the churches I attended in another state almost split, so I have been thru & know. 1st thing is to pray & intercede as to what to do. Then go do, not sit goyang kaki. But... a lot of us feel hurt, angry, go do 1st(operating in the flesh), then only tell God to bless. Like the other poster said, anointing. Serving also we need anointing. When I said some people sikit2 butthurtt is speaking from experience as assistant leader. Talk one sentence also get offended, go complain to the pastor, lol. I talk direct & serious one when there is task to be completed, like working time. Some like to talk nenek moyang story, then only do work, I want faster2 do, then I can go do other thing. My colleagues & customers at work also not so sensitive HIyaa, want to cerita abt church & church people, berjela2 one. Just told you the main points You cannot get annointing wihout trying, kapeesh? So its your job to go out there and try out which ministry is suitable or not. Try few months, not suitable then try another ministry. But there are some little napoleans out there however, who wants their own cronies only in their ministry, so be prepared to kena bantai. You think those complain complain butthurt are small potatoes ah? U think any tom, d***, harry can simply go and complain to pastor. If the person can complain to the pastor and pastor take action, the person got political backing. Understand? U as an assistant leader totally have no awareness of what is happening. I recall my cell got a member who is the secretary to the main pastor, when my cg had an uprising because a member wanted to coup the leader, the secretary complained and the main pastor stepped in...the rebellious members dibuang negara. Those talk nenek moyang story are those aunties who are want to gossip at everyh turn. The difference my one is that I am talking about discrimination and gross political marginalisation of people they don't like, favourtism. Understand? |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jan 24 2014, 09:25 AM) I talk from experience. Yes, when you do this, it means you must submit to his will. but I'm nobody special. If God can take care of me, He can take care of you too. Used to be very hard to let go of worrying but now by God's grace, I don't worry anymore. I don't do things in my own strength to ensure my survival. I just let it go to God. He will supply all my need. Meaning whatever ambitions you got..like wanna be a doctor, want to marry a beautiful wife, want to have kids, want to drive a nice car...all this worldly stuff...you submit to his will..and you may not get it. Its either this, god will bless u...but on the bigger things you want (which reflects your own self preserverance) (I am sure you got)...he may either grant you in later life or not at all. Example, when Abraham and Sarai, was so eager to have their own offspring, took so long until Sarai was pregnant with Isaac at age 80 ! Impossible at today's feat. This is while Abraham see his neighbors can get pregnant at 30, if his faith wasn't strong, he would have grind his teeth and said why I get child at 80? But my friend here get child at 30? Yes, I even know of a youth pastor, his faith is strong, he found the woman he like. Alas, he married late, he badly wanted a child, but due to their late age, they were unable to conceive. Or a pastor who graduated as an engineer from local uni, but he took the path of pastoralship instead. 20 years later, he is driving a protong, he saw his classmate driving a mercedes, though he no regrets..the pastor almost fell into temptation of disatisfaction. Yes I also know that on paper, if we really truly believe in god, all this worldly stuff doesn't really matter, doesn't it? We die, we bury six feet deep, cremate or what...we just rot and go back to the ground, dust to dust..ashes to ashes...even the rich, the powerful, kings and queens, all will be same level when we all die...six feet below. We can't take our material possessions with us to the afterlife. Its our life in earth, how we live for christ is judged..is what counts. But..you don't tell me, not for a sec...you don't winch...or tempted to lift up your fist in the air...and say something you not happy to god? Even though you submit your every will to god's will? Fren, its not easy as ABC to say "by God's grace, I don't worry anymore". What you say is very true...but the enemy is watching and he will definitely test you. By all means you will overcome (but there are cases some didn't), but you will know and come to understand how i feel when you do. |

QUOTE(eaglehelang @ Jan 24 2014, 02:24 PM) hahaha, I know and am aware but I dont let it effect my faith. I'm not in full time ministry anyway. The example is small example, the big issues I would not talk abt it in public forum. U profiling also u dun know unless u try. My pt is, if small thing also so easily butthurtt, then big thing? Pengsan terus lah those ppl. The issues went up as high as Msia's general council, in charge of whole Msia one. What you describe, more geng stuff also got. So, it is not that I take light of your....hmm suffering, but with time, God will heal the wounds and we are able to move on. Sounds cliche but true On giftings and ministries to serve, there is such thing called spiritual gifts profile. Whether is introvert, extrovert, task or people oriented, etc Got serius thing also but never go to general council. Like my friend at youth church, got pregnant...out of wedlock, with her boyfriend who work full time at the church audio ministry. Because of the "sin" the boyfriend committed, he kena buang kerja. But for her, the blady church persuaded her to give up her baby for adoption. Crap, i was there at the hospital when she gave birth...so heartbreaking to see a mom give away her baby...heck she was only 21 then. Whereas when the pastor daughter kena pregnant with the boyfriend who is hte worship leader.....the only punishment he got was that he had to confess in front of the whole congregation. Then they got married in big ceremony... Double standards...pastor son-in-law got away with slap on the back of the hand whereas poor guy kena buang kerja. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jan 25 2014, 10:21 AM) Knowing on paper is one thing, daring to live out what you believe on paper is another thing right? Those who dare to live on right thing usually gets persecuted in their own church. Thats the crap thing about it. We are suppose to get persecuted by outsiders not from our very own, or so called own.Faith. You see, the people who rise up fast in church are those who back stab other people, polish shoe to get their spots up there. Even everyday they know too well, that all this are just worldly posessions. You think its easy, you just tell yourself to focus on god. But i tell you your ministry will face challenges especially from within. Just yesterday, my fren from that stinking tmn B church, told me, he got a phone call from the pastor...asking him to come for some activities. He was thinking, why suddenly the big time pastor is calling him? The youth have 12 gutless spinless leaders and on top of that they have a big head rich man son leading them. Why none of them are calling him? They are not empowered meh? Useless.. THen he rememberd posting some small jokes at the church watsapp...he didn't get too good response on it, he told me the joke, i thought the church was a bit too serious about it. Maybe some arseholeee church member filed a complain to the pastor, thats why the pastor has been pestering him to go to certain activities. Just like what Eduardo Saverin receive a phone call from his buddy Zuckerberg to come back to office...just to receive the bad news, that his shares are being diluted to 0.06% (The Social Network). Of course, nothing of that sort, my friend doesn't work for that stinking church, so what can they do to him? He knows the only weapon they can apply is the weapon of snub and gutter politics. So what for attend their meetings? I tell him to go elsewhere la, don't be stuck at this forsaken POS church. So trivial matter, the church also wanna take action. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jan 25 2014, 10:55 AM) I see you understand some basics of Christianity but you don't subscribe to the deeper side of it. What is this? This is not a challenge for grades on who is better at christian knowledge/theology. Have you read Ephesians 6:12 and do you understand what it means? You still don't get my point. My point is not to ignore the politics that goes on at the church. One has got to challenge it and fight the system. Some leaders are using certain verses like "submissioN" and "focus on god" for their own selfish agendas. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jan 27 2014, 09:45 AM) No it's not a challenge. Sometimes we have to defend ourselves. But if you have intention to be a really a disciple of Christ you must have proper understanding of Ephesians 6:12. It has to do with fighting but not in the sense of what you think fighting is. Otherwise you'll live your life disgruntled with people all the time. You will have no peace in your life. Z100 will be cringing in anger reading this...but its no slander, its real life. I recall being part of a cg...the cg leader always get angry and say bad thing behind member's back. Got one of my fren, he had to miss a few meetings to prepare for his examination. This cg leader ah go and say the cg member not commital enough la, say he not believing enuf la... Then when he came back from his exam, the cg leader tell us to ignore him for the whole duration of the meeting..punishment for him going missing for 3 cg meeting. Apa ini? I was just a college student then, it really crush our hearts man to see the cg leader who is grown man going around bully his young cg members.. we should have stood up, and voice up our disagreement. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jan 29 2014, 09:44 AM) If you don't practice the biblical principal outlined by the Holy Spirit, you'll be fighting people your whole life. So u just sit there and keep quiet? That is your idea of you allowing God to fight for you? It's really your choice. you fight or let God fight for you. Who is stronger? That is not an act of faith. Faith need works to put it into practice. I give u a story of a man who lost his oars in while he was rowing his boat. So he let his faith save him, his boat move by the flow of the current. It pass by another fisherman's boat, "he ask the man, i'll pass my rope to you and then you pull your boat to my boat and "I'll tie our boats together". But the stupid man say, I have faith in god, he will guide me out of the torrents. Then his boat pass by, he saw a kid by the shoreline. The kid shouted out to him that he will call the rescue services to send a helicopter to rescue him. But the man refused, he say, by my faith god will pull me out of this. Then his boat reached a big waterfall, it fell, he drowned. For me, whenever i face politics at church, I will stand up and shout injustice. I haven't said anything yet at that tmn bilon church, but i will say my peace soon. There is some discrimnation there, i don't like it. There are some young leaders who think they are the crem de la crem. Got one fat lady there, she even laugh at a mentally challenged youth there. She as a leader, discriminate other members, when she doesn't look at herself in the mirror (her biceps are as big as my head). I am gonna speak up. |
