Hi,

I need advice on which to decide out of these 2 PSUs:

1. Corsair GS700w 2013 edition
2. Zalman ZM700-GT 700w psu

Reason for purchase: a recent GPU upgrade to GTX650

This is my rig:
Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H + phenom II x2 555
Corsair Value 4GB ram
500GB HDD
Leadtek Geforce GTX650

My use of the PC normally video watching, music, surfing and of course gaming, not much but occasionally some heavy games. I don't intend to spend $$ on top of the line but I have budgeted +/-RM350.

Many thanks for the advice in advance

warmest regards

Hi chocobo7779,

the cheapest I find is rm359+rm18 postage = rm377! That's nearly rm380 way above my budget! cry.gif

Can you recommend a similar spec psu that is within my budget?

sorry, had to ask.

Many thanks in advance

Hi,

thanks for the reply. Really appreciate it. I am now looking at the following 2 PSUs: -

1) SEASONIC S12 II 620W - 80Plus Bronze
vs
2) ENERMAX NAXN82+ 650W 80Plus Bronze

Not much price difference, very close in fact.

Would you say Seasonic S 12II 620W would be the right pick?

many thanks

bob

True, I agree. Problem is i have very limited Budget. I. had checked lingloong store, he doesn't carry the g550. I can only find another seller for rm359+18= rm377, too much for me. though i really like g550w. So i am going for the s12II 620w instead.

thanks smile.gif

BTW, how big is the difference between the 2 PSUs?

Seasonic G 550w vs S12II 620w

Is the price difference of +/-RM70 (@Lelong Quotes - g550 @rm377 - s12ii620 @rm305) worth it? Sorry, I am afraid my knowledge of PSUs is really limited. Your input is truly appreciated,

thanks in advance

total inclusive delivery charges to KK Sabah = rm369 @Lelong. yeah i know its a little high but its ok with me, as my original budget is 350, so its not too bad. And its somebody i think can trust. So its still all good. blush.gif

Report 1: I have now installed the Sea Sonic G 550W and its running cool. Have yet to install the Leadtek Geforce GTX 650. Will update soon.
