My Cooler Master UCP 1100W psu has now degraded after 9+ years of continuous 24/7 use. Plan to replace it with Cooler Master V1000.
Looking for better alternatives and suggestions if any before ordering one.

QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ Sep 30 2019, 03:38 AM) Specs of your machine first? I highly doubt you'll need a 1000W unit for modern hardware these days Also, how much are you willing to spend? According to Outervision PSU calculation for my needs and upcoming upgrade; Recommended PSU wattage is 825W and recommended PSU is: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G+, 80 Plus Gold 1000W. Budget below MYR 800 should be good enough? 🤔 QUOTE(Current Events guy @ Sep 30 2019, 11:47 AM) How exactly did you detect this degradation? Among other things, when you have trouble cold booting the PC and both 8 pin power led on your primary GPU is blinking.

There is a review for Segotep GP600P here. <Link>I wanted to stick to my original plan with Cooler Master V1000 (Seasonic) <Link>. Reason being, good experience with Cooler Master PSU. The CM UCP 1100W (5 year warranty) bought on 20/05/10 gave me trouble free operation for 9+ years (24/7). In the end, I decided to go with the slightly more expensive EVGA Supernova G+ 1000W (FSP). <Link> Both are very good PSUs but I can RMA the EVGA it if it fails within 10 years and sell it off to offset the cost of a new one....

Get a good SFX sized 450W PSU. You should have enough clearance for the stock heatsink (Height 54mm).
