What about Antec's EarthWatts series? Are they any good? I'm looking for a new budget PSU to supply my AMD A10 - 7850K + 8GB DDR3 2400 MHz, with possibly discrete graphic card added in later;(eyeing for AMD R9 285).

Thanks for the reply. The PSU seems too cheap for an 80 Plus Platinum (RM 340), that got me suspicious initially. Maybe because it's non-modular though.

I'm still thinking whether to get the 550W or 650W for extra headroom for future upgrade.

Just made aware FSP Raiders are available in both Bronze and Silver 80-Plus rated. The pricing is not fixed for both items, some vendor sells the old Bronze model higher that the Silver.

Although I don't pay too much attention on the 80-Plus thing but I still want to get the best out of my bucks.

FSP HEXA+, is it still recommended? I heard it is no longer using Japanese capacitors, and furthermore there is no ON / OFF switch.
