Interesting that I can't find much review on FSP Hydro PTM Pro ATX 3.0 1200w but I assume it's the same as the non ATX 3.0 version that was released on 2022.. I guess it's not bad... Considering the limited stock that the distributor have.. I don't have much choices.
Apparently the NGDP PCB is tagged for use from 850W all the way to 1300W so it might be using the same platform but differs in just the components. Still would be interesting to compare yours 850W to Cimaris review on the higher wattage units and see where it differs.
Speaking of 1st player, here a plant visit to Helly (the OEM for 1st player)
Update on the RMA on Super Flower PSU...ended up with FSP Hydro PTM Pro ATX 3.0 1200w cause the FSP Hydro TI 1000W is out of stock..so far so good, no more coil whine. I guess I am unlucky to get 2x coil whine PSU from Super Flower cause Super Flower usually makes reliable PSU.
It has been about 7 years since I have last bought a power supply for my build. Now its maybe about time I updated and get a new PSU. After doing some calculating my build consumes about below 500 watts. Any recommendations? I am more partial towards FSP and Superflower but I can consider other brands as long as it was in tier A by cultists
PS: I saw quite a number of seller selling EVGA 1300w mining PSU. Anybody know who are the OEM for that psu? I'm just curious because there are no detailed reviews of that PSU in the internet.
base on your budget
Modular / non modular
600w / 750w / 850w
Gpu is the most power hungry among all power consumption..

Guys, I haven't been keeping touch with markets/builds lately, especially on PSUs.. but I suddenly in need to replace my son's PC PSU, from an old Corsair VS450. He has a 3300X and 5700 in his rig, with 3 SSDs and some fans. Anything cheap and decent (I know cheap no good good no cheap) since it's nothing fancy anyway. And should I keep running the 5700 with daisy chain?
