QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Dec 8 2012, 02:14 AM) wonder how to attract those y500 and future y400 owner to come here? since pretty sure most of spammer Well Y400/Y500 user still not so many, give them some time.... Added on December 8, 2012, 2:34 amWell now got one things make me think abt it... If buyer does buy Y400/Y500 come with single GT650M GPU and dun want add an extra GPU ultrabay, it actually perform slightly weaker graphic performance than Y480 since what we seen from Y500's single GT650M is downclocked? QUOTE(FauxHawk @ Dec 8 2012, 11:01 PM) Hi, my brother just bought the Y580 at the PC fair just now, and after we installed most of the updates only we noticed something wrong. Maybe malfunction? The USB 2.0 port at the right side doesn't work. It doesn't detect anything plugged in, mouse or flash drive, but when plug in a external hard drive, it powers up the ext hard drive. Anybody kena this problem before ah? I trying to see if got driver can help or not =.=. Btw, the screen damn nice. And i'm using it to type this, not bad the feeling and layout. Later only test games. u got check before when u buy it? |

And also the scale u need to adjust by urself..... |

Like when im not charging the game will feel more laggy than when i'm charging. Anyone having this problem ? Windows 8 . I think the lenovo battery saver is the cause. any advise ? Thanks |

QUOTE(mengfart @ Dec 9 2012, 01:17 PM) Im on balanced mode on Energy Management and also balanced on the normal battery bar. Well the Lenovo Dynamic Graphic is the Kepler GPU boost function enabled plan, even though u din open it u also can play ur game, but open it ur GPU will be boost to 885MHz(GPU and Shader clock) instead of 745MHz(GPU and Shader clock)Need to do it manually every time when i'm gaming ? |

Our battery cannot give such like huge output power like power adapter |

QUOTE(csv @ Dec 9 2012, 09:25 PM) nope, using the original installed driver. The device manager shows the display card but with error CODE 43. Updated to this versionhttp://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/notebook-wi...-driver-uk.html The stock driver not so stable coz on that time GT6XX series just out and their driver not out yet... Added on December 9, 2012, 9:42 pm QUOTE(FauxHawk @ Dec 9 2012, 09:34 PM) So, I went and changed a new one, and now trying it out. If ur air flow system in ur room is terrible then it should be normal....The temps are always around 50 to 60, is that normal? and how do I know the temp of the GTX 660? This replacement unit has artifacts T.T Only when playing games will see it flashing the whole screen >.< or else it should be in 40+ something when not gaming.... U try to update to newest driver version and see This post has been edited by sss2sssss: Dec 9 2012, 09:42 PM |

QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Dec 10 2012, 12:33 AM) I thought 550M SLI has better performance than 560m, right? And Y500 body is mostly metal instead of plastic. Correct me if I'm wrong. U typo error from ur first post until now... I check the review. Those heavy games can run under ultra setting. ( like battlefield 3, crysis ). For those Y580 users, I wanna ask, is it really playable when the fps is around 30+? Cause I personally do feel the screen is a bit jerky when the fps is 30+ compare with fps 40+ It's GT650M SLi and GTX 660M Well if u wanna play it more smoothly, set ur setting to 1366x768/1600x900 |
