i once used maxis wireless unlimited (not home fiber like u) and also have this high latency issue. for my case, instead of routing the connection to japan like u, maxis wireless unlimited connection route to hong kong before back to sg.
using a malaysia based vpn server do help to fix this. but why must we pay extra.

the person that consult me say vpn will not solve my problem.

if there any free vpn server ar? hmm... or vpn that giv trial.

vpn cant fix ur problem if ur connection get routed to japan even when u connecting to server inside malaysia. in my case my connection to server in malaysia did not get routed to hong kong thus vpn helped me. tried and tested the route and ping using pingplot.

if the person u consulted at strongvpn.com consider that all ur connection is routed to japan even when connecting to malaysia server than that person is right in his opinion. every vpn should give trial acc first. my suggestion is get 1 and test it urself first.

i complained to MCMC regarding this ping issue... and Maxis called me back after a week.. and said they are in the midst of resolving... wtf... after 6 months still resolving... then i ask can cancel? they said can but got penalty... 18 months left in contract... wtf again...
so they force you to say issue is settled since they are resolving it and MCMC is aware of this problem.. timeline given is no deadline...
we are all screwed and Maxis will lawyer you with the contract...
i dam regret got maxis... no IPTV sommore... unifi is the best fibre so far..

lately my ping goes down a little actually...
but still can feel the delay...
as far as i know, they just cant get the contract with starhub...
or something like that...

yo same problem here. maxis home fibre user here. my pings are like 120-180. hard to play.

change to unifa, i play dota 2 smoth with 32ping

with yes4g i always,always play with minimum 200 ping,
but still smooth. idk how =.=. but yea the quota cepat habis.
gonna change to unifi soon

complain till sien already and this problem is still there. they said they are trying their best to upgrade their service and lowering the ping.

Almost signed up for the Maxis fibre back when RM120 per month promotion, luckily didnt and stayed with TM.

worst of all, my area ONLY got maxis!!! how???!!! WTF???!!!

Recently the ping seems improved a lot.

Last time it was around 160-300+ ms.

Since last week the ping is around 50-70 ms.

No lag or delay anymore.

Last year Maxis fiber have problem to mostly SG server reach around 200 ping. But lately they just rectify it.

my ping around 90++ even SG TF2 server; sometime reach 1000 ping LOL
