i want to play but afraid it is too childish

I tempted to get as got good trophies But want to start Spyro's adventure 1st as Giants is like its sequel to it. How's the game? Nice?

How many are in total?

To beat the game, just need 1 figurine. but to beat the game with 100% completion, you have to have minimum 8 figurines, each from the 8 type of skylanders (fire, water etc etc) They are 32 figurine in total iinm. and the previous series of figurine can work in this sequel.

I bought for my son the complete 1st series (total investment RM2,500 ) which he enjoys playing with his friends very much. Now I helping him to collect the Giants Series...the game and figurine can be bought at Bangsar Shopping Complex, 3rd Floor. Otherwise, can get them on eBay...from US or UK about 2 weeks delivery. Attached is the Giants series poster. Basically most of the 1st series skylanders are the same and you can still use them in the Giants series except the Giants series has 2 more capabilities....

I put the figurine on the portal and the character will appear in the game.

I'm playing on the hard difficulty.... and the game quite hard after the 3rd level So right now i'm grinding to level up my characters

how much did u buy that,planing to buy 2 other character ,my niece lvl up all the character already

the problem with 3 packs is, i already have all the elements that included in that 3 packs. thats why i buy individual skylanders. i have 5 at the moment. just need another 3 more elements.

thats why i wan to request from the seller to bring single pack character

Ah not bad. I can get the Dragonfire Cannon Battlepack for around RM 105/100. Pandai2 nego.

Then there's Prism bBreak and 5 other mini figs for around RM 65 each. If i'm not mistaken that is.

js found out TRU at MV got sell skylander Giants!! hurrah

after looking at the prices however, i ,

(IINM, during skylander 1 days, i buy them fr ebay USA and UK, the prices with shipping still more reasonable than these prices)

anyway, anyone interested in trading or lending each other skylanders, can pm me. If u do buy skylander, rmb u don't hv to open the packaging and still play as normal.

Was in Singapore over the weekend and picked this up at a bargain.



Some of their figurines also cheap at SGD 9 a piece though Giants still expensive.

Gonna start my portal of power soon. May need a special shelf if plan to collect all characters.

in western countries, if P-O with a big chain retailer, can get a bonus S2 Lightcore Hex figure. i doubt SG/MY will hv such promotion though.....

heck, i'm about to be bombarded by questions like if the whole skylanders previous series is compatible with Swap Force. I have no way of answering.

the rule is easy
- older skylander characters will work on all series
- but newly created skylander characters won't work on the older games.

so any previous figurine u own will work with Swap Force (bundled with new and improved portal power)

was just browsing, and saw a good deal for the XBOX360 version of Skylanders Giants Starter Pack (can play on NTSC/J)

IT HAD BETTER!

only managed to test the 1st level of PS3 version.

- the graphix have been upgraded and alot of new content has been added for co-op family fun

- the portal of power is backwards compatible, it works with previous games

- the skylanders are forward compatible, any previous figurine will just work

had a mini crisis yest when i loaded up the swap force game the the portal suddenly decided to stop working! (the RFID reader stop functioning)

not sure what the issue was, it became OK again suddenly after plugging and unplugging the USB for over a hour. wheeeewwwwww, crisis averted.

anyway, for those who still have the older portal, u can make good use of it as a RFID antenna extender. youtube has some videos of this so i just share some picts ....

Those who are getting PS4, can consider Amazon's current offer. They sell starter pack for USD49.99 and most ppl says this is a better family game than Knack

Was at GH the other day and was pleasantly surprised they re-stock some Giant Skylanders - Swarm, Bouncer & Hothead at RM69/ea for GH members. Pretty good deal, too bad they don't have Thumbpack.

Anyway, I'm selling some of my extras off; willing to trade with other figures too. BTW, if anyone is on the PS3 and want to unlock those adventure levels (Pirate Seas, Darklight Crypt, Empire of Ice, Dragon's Peak, Tower of Time), can PM me for details. I think we can unlock the levels by recovering the gamesave from PSN.

i was at the LRT the other day, i placed a lightcore skylander at the touch-n-go panel, it gave me the red-light-no-entry error

now i wonder what will happen if i get a LRT token and put on the portal of power

for those interested, IMPULSE MEGASTORE having sales on the older stocks of skylanders.

all these figures will work in swap force, so now is a good time to buy skylanders of different elements, if got duplicate characters, can always trade and sell away

Pickup giants starter fr Impulse at rm90 cheap. Sapu all their triple packs and giant figure as well. Giant figure they sell rm25 only so add wif tree rex i hav 3 other giant figs.haha

My location is Jb so cant try GH. Nvm wil cont search for it aft done wif Giants.

may i know which Giants figure u bought/impulse selling at RM25/ea?

p/s: i think most of us MY fans also sapu the skylanders on sale from Impulse, so hard to trade also cos we most probably have the same characters already. tip: buy the Scorpion Striker Battle Pack (12pcs left) from Impulse cos HotDog is super awesome as a character to play.

tHEY only have thumpback, crusher and swarm so tats the 3 i got. dont hav ninjini though...

and yes the scorpion battle pack i hav it also it's one of my hauls there.

They stil hav plenty of Spyros Adventure single pack selling at rm25 and triple pack at rm50

good thing is triple pack c/w free single figure so for RM50 u get 4 figures:)

btw, i notice Swap Force there is this Dark Edition that costs way alot from the normal starter.

Is this worth getting??

the dark edition figurine nothing special besides its exclusivity/"limited edition" and cost roughly RM160 more.

if u plan to sell ur figures down the road, the dark edition figures will fetch good prices for collectors on international ebay.

yeah, prices start from RM75 onwards for a swapper at local shops. actually u can also play a swapper while the figure is still boxed, so maybe that is an option to keep the resale value high

Anyone looking for Ninjini and Thumpback from Giants? I have an extra of each that's brand new in box. Very hard to find in Malaysia. And over 1k HP when used in Trap Team.

Just played a couple of chapters of Trap Team on PS3. So far, the game is good, but those Traptanium Elemental Gates really annoying and really representative of Activision's avaricious greed, LoL


I'm willing to trade Trapmasters so that we can help each other unlock those gates. I have EARTH|UNDEAD|TECH to trade.
