I saw someone drive a brand new cerato with nexen tyre blew up exactly the same as your tyre. Lagi teruk he is few weeks old punya car.

yup i just got mine blown last night cruising at 110kmh on the way from Putrajaya to Dengkil.

suddenly just boom, rear left blown up. Scared the shit out of me. Drove car for so many years n i nvr had this problem, n now suddenly go burst. zzz

Now in the mid of blowing up the KIA and Nexen in malaysia. See what's their response.

I'm driving a cerato also, mileage clocked at 3880km

wow so many cases nexen blown up. i'll really shy away from this brand

Yesterday another case after one 13,000 km.

Same case with my KIa forte KUMHO tyre (factory stock about 1 year GONE CASE)....my piece of advice, after seeing few cases like this (happened to my brother as well) don go for cheap tire unless unless you are really tight on budget.

Mine happened during traffic jam....it didn blow up coz the car wasn't moving when it happened. i just feel kinda weird to the car why it kept pulling me to a side.

Anyone tried Turanza GR100 or other quiet tyres yet?

Afaik Michelin doesn't carry 225/45/R18, so ST3 tyres are out of the question.

Dont know why ppl all raving about nexen tyres. Thr was once a period whr everyone was changing to Nexen tyres and my friend asked me whether to chg to Nexen tyres, I told him Korean stuff dont and cannot last long .

Luckily he didnt change. Pls pls just avoid Nexen tyres . Worst tyres ever!!
