Hehehe.. I just bought a Fujitsu S2110 yesterday with a RAM upgrade.. cheap and good! So far I'm very happy with it, I'm gonna use it for basic stuff like word processing, internet browsing and chatting, and burning my recorded videos.

Other hardcore stuff I still have my DELL 6400

I got it for RM4199 haha.. with free thumbdrive and fan
Bargain to the max only get these la.. but its ok I guess.. still bang for the buck.

P/S: The black casing is nice la, but if your hands are oily or wet, damn mah farn la.. will leave stains on it. So, best to keep a cloth handy lol.

I thought the bag comes along with the unit? I dunno la, I got a laptop bag and another small bag.. And btw, 2 days after getting the lappy, I sent it back to Fujitsu

My drive was too sensitive, 80% of all the discs I've tried with, can't be read. Got a call from them yesterday, stating that it was software issue.. will be collecting it today and see if the problem is really rectified.

P/S: Was strolling around the mall the other day after sending the lappy off, and the MacBook caught my eye.. DAMMIT! Now thinking of getting one.. but I guess that'll have to wait.

So far my s2110 got no problems after collecting it back. I've uninstalled Sonic burning software entirely, and installed Cyberlink's Power2Go. Really good software to use.. as for the drive sensitivity issues, so far I've been using Taiyo Yuden discs.. and they're working well, not sure about my Riteks though, will have to try them out later.

Anyway, if you're having doubts about the s2110, you shouldn't.. if you plan to use it mainly for work, perhaps this machine will make you a proud owner. For multimedia and movies, my 512mb RAMs are enough to run HDTV encodes too.. not to mention 1gb!

So, I think it's a good buy @ RM4230, cuz mine already cost me RM4199 for extra 256mb RAM.

If possible, don't put your monitor (CRT/LCD also same) near any radioactive devices like woofers, radio, etc. It'll distort your screen's frequency and such. Last time my monitor, I put near woofer.. get flickering screens and rainbow colors hahaha.. after putting it further away.. no more such problems. Maybe instead of 1m, put 2m? Might be better for your lappie.
