I thought Ram suppose to be backward-compatible?

Hi.

Wanna ask 1 question. Just bought S7111 model recently. The problem is.. there was a sound coming from hdd.. but its not a 'kricking' sound.. it sounds like reading disk.. (like zz.. zzz.. zzz..)
when i run hdd test, sound getting noisy than before.. is tht normal for hdd reading disk sound? I hav run the scandisk on Windows, n found no bad sectors.
Wht probably cause this thing happend? Wht shuld i do then? Any helps r very much appreciated.

Thx

I hope this thread stays alive... coz I just bought me a P7120 rclxm9.gif

this is my second Fujitsu. I sold off my 4.5 year old S series 6130.

What I can say about this lappy...

Pros:

Seriously portable with internal DVDRW drive
Quite as hell frozen over due to its fanless design
Amazing battery life 5-6hours on normal use with WiFi

Cons:

a little on the warm side.

the A3110 is using shared graphics ... so for normal games like warcraft 3 got no problem ...

but dont expect to run games like farcry on it ...

Hi guys, I own a Fujitsu S6130 which I bought in August 2003, so it's easily 4 years old. Just wondering, I plan to send it for some serious servicing before I go back overseas for studies, so can anyone tell me if I could go straight to the Fujitsu office for service? Anyone with any experience? Also how about the cost?

Hi, would you recommend P1610 or U1010?

While U1010 is temptingly "cheaper" than P1610, P1610 has a more accessible "normal" keyboard than U1010, a DVD drive, and Windows XP.

What do you think?
