QUOTE(Just Visiting By @ Aug 9 2013, 05:36 PM)
Hei, just for your information, now everyone who sits for form 6 go to public university, although majority does. Some people like me go for form 6 to save money. It might be a stupid choice but you really could save much money if you go form 6, and it'll lessen your parents' financial load.

Besides, why rushing to finish study fast and work early? Working is no fun, although getting paid is very, very great. You know what you have to do while working? Kiss*ng people's ass to get $$$, get yelled at and unable to defend yourself due to your work reputation etc. Why do you think lots of people are so happy and throw parties after they retire? Work late a year than others is alright. Enjoy your youth while you have it.
*
Eh wait .

This is a generalisation .
WORK does not mean all the nasty stuff you've said . Expand your horizons . One can be a mathematician , businessman , entrepreneur , private tutor , etc . WORK must not be generalised to a typical office job .

I ... am ... done ... with ... Biology ...

I mean I'm not entirely done with it . I'd have to sharpen my grasp on plant reproduction and Inheritance , but for most purposes I'll have to leave Biology aside .

Time to blaze through Sejarah ! No rest period for me , at all . But it's going to be worth it . I think .

Thanks smile.gif

Reason being , it's easier to mark . Examiners always love answers in table . Oh and , in Physics , Point Form beats Essay form anytime . It's unlike Biology . You just need to be succinct in your answers . Diagrams and formulae can be used where applicable .

Hmm
So I am allowed to write it in point form and not essay?
What about chemistry dude !
Thanks! You helped alot
*
Yes . This applies for Physics only .

For Chemistry , you can use tables to compare , and diagrams for experiment , but it's suggested , just for the sake of safety that you write in essay form .

How to remember the charge of ions in chem? No not the ECS ones
*
Since you're in Form Five now , charges of ions like chromate , manganate , nitrate , sulphate , sodium , aluminium , magnesium , etc should come naturally to you . If they don't , start working now .

QUOTE(manutd96 @ Aug 25 2013, 01:45 PM)
Why is the answer c here although a.c current is used?
*
Cathode Ray Tube acts as a rectifier to convert the A.C signal to a D.C . Capacitor blocks D.C , so the output would be that of C .

Critical_Fallacy please verify this as I've neglected Physics for quite a long time now , focusing on the languages and history .

So does it mean here that the cathode ray tube acts like a diode?
*
nod.gif

Before diodes were invented , cathode ray tubes were used .

Thank you , as always . Sorry for not replying some of your posts . I'm trying my best to cover everything . Tomorrow , I'll sit my Bahasa Melayu papers . And it'll be a punishing schedule ahead --- we have time to rest for two weeks only after our Trials , because we'll be having another one after that .

For my fellow comrades , I wish you good luck . I'll keep this thread updated if time permits .

Form four and form five Sejarah textbooks are horrifying I tell you . Bad organisation of points , no clear-cut arrangement , etc . I only rely on notes for paper 2 , and for paper 1 , I'll read the small side-boxes in the textbook in case they come out . As for the talk about 'you must use textbook or no A+ for Sejarah , that's rubbish . it's a matter of preference . '

Textbook has long sentences , but in SPM , the markers will look at the points . So notes with the keywords are very helpful .

* by the way , noticed that more posts are appearing , I guess students are feeling the heat . *

As for me I've 7 subjects left . Not sure how to go through some as it's all last minute work for subjects like Ekonomi Asas and Moral . I need a miracle to pull through .

Anyway,
Math is not wajib subject.
So ,
Failing it isnt a problem .

But, since form2  shocking.gif  shocking.gif

Excuse me , but :

Mathematics is a 'SUBJEK WAJIB LULUS' . You can say goodbye to your SPM Certificate if you fail your Maths . I'd suggest doing some simple research before providing false information based on fallacious conclusions ... You can even deduce that it is a 'wajib subject' based on the July Maths papers offered to candidates who'd want to repeat .

QUOTE(Critical_Fallacy @ Sep 2 2013, 10:59 PM)
Always leave a backdoor open for others when the situation allows. Sometimes I'm dissatisfied with the reality, and I become a high-minded idealist, feeling that it is up to me to improve everything. But at your best, you can become extraordinarily wise and discerning. By accepting what is, you become transcendentally realistic, knowing the best action to take in each moment. If there is any question about that intention or about any implicit part of the statement, the originator should be given the benefit of any doubt in the reformulation or, when possible, given the opportunity to amend it. icon_rolleyes.gif
*
I see . Now I understand why you pose questions , so that the person who made the comment can amend the error(s) , if any . nod.gif

Your comment reminds me of a Taoist philosophy called 'Wu-Wei' .
