Aktas and undang-undangs are required to write in full, eg Akta Perkampungan Burma 1889, whereas something like Mat Salleh menentang British pada tahun xxxx is not compulsory to write the year

Is this year's trial set by each school or is every school is gonna sit for the same state paper? Also when are the trials? Aug or early Sep?

Want to get ready for it and dont repeat the same mistakes for this exam. Thanks

How do you all study for Bio? Basically, I still find it hard to get A+ for this subject and I dont want it to ruin my trial results. Any great ideas will be appreciated.

I'll love a detailed response too , but most seniors say the same stuff : Read and memorise . Memorise answer schemes , especially for essay .

I'd normally read , understand , and then try to remember the points by drawing / writing them out on a piece of paper using coloured pens ( I'm a visual learner , I need coloured diagrams ) . And then exercises , then look at the answers .

So far it had been good -- for the first time , I got an A+ for Biology mid-term exam .

But is this enough for the trials ? I'm afraid not .  unsure.gif
Because I haven't touched a Biology book for months , and I'm rusty . And there's one whole Reproduction chapter left untouched .

Thanks for the sharing. I will use the two weeks holiday to concentrate on my science subjects esp. Bio and Chm.

Apparently, my teacher also suggested that we read the answers at the back of the past year questions book. Guess that is one good way since they only accept answers listed in the marking scheme.

So far, I've only scored A+ for Bio once. It will be a long battle. rolleyes.gif

Then , How About Comparison Questions ? Should We First Compare both of it lines by lines or 1st paragraph explaining all aspects for 1st thing the other paragraph for the 2nd thing ? Or draw Tables For it ? ( for Chem , Bio , Phy ) ? hmm.gif !
*
As I know, Bio you can draw a table. The rest I think you have to write line by line

Nahh, it doesn't hurt so much when it comes to put on the school uniforms, participating in the co-curricular activities, listening to your principal's endless speech on every Monday and doing them all over again for roughly another 2 years, does it??  biggrin.gif I don't know whether you're willing to hold on to these relentless school rules for another 2 years, but these are all trivial to me and it seems that at least for me, the pros of taking STPM seems to outweigh the cons. So, I really think it all boils down to you yourself on which educational pathway that you intend pursue once you've completed SPM, different people have different perspective icon_idea.gif
*
Form 6 really has its pros and cons. The pros are STPM is widely recognized locally and internationally. So, u have a wide choice where to further ur studies. Besides, u learn more and better prepared for univeristy level. However, the cons are you have to spend more time doing Form 6 than any course. Besides, the allocation of places in local public university is not a lot for STPM students as majority of the places are already given to those in matriks. Even recently, those who achieved 4 flat cannot find a place in public uni. So, why spend so much hard time doing STPM(which is the hardest option)?

If there are other options, I would rather go for that. Juz my 2 cents thought so yeah.

Since I am not doing much Add Maths recently, when do you use binomial, normal distribution and simple probability(tree diagram)?
I know a little of them but quite confused though

27th of August . Sejarah paper three on the 20th . By the way , I'm not satisfied with just an A for BM . Looking for ways to push it up a notch ...its not a subject to be looked down upon .
*
I know that BM will be the hardest subject for me to get A+ this time. I will put in more effort to push for at least 90 this time but I know it will be a tall order. Gambateh thumbup.gif

Karangan will be the heart of the paper considering the most marks it offers. But u should also not forget to revise some tatabahasa and novel.
