A coincidence , or were there tips floating around about the experiment ?
My school decided to use SBP's trial papers for most of the subjects ( except for the languages , Maths , and history ) , but I didn't do any of them . It's good I think , at least the results will reflect what I studied .

For BM and English essays, does organization matter?

Just asking if anyone knows.

Seems like I'll be the only one venturing into Science .

It's disappointing , really , students choose the Science stream not because they are passionate about it , but because they were forced by parents/teachers or considered SPM Arts Stream as inferior to Science .

The only reason I'm so motivated to excel in SPM is because of the Science subjects .

erm...thats not BC, thats CHINESE LITERATURE. well, for actual BC, i dont think i can get even A- this time

Physics - 40
Chemistry - 24
Biology - 42
Add maths - 19
Maths - 51
Sejarah - 50
Bm - 58
Moral - 43

Haven't got my english papers back yet. I don't even know why I'm posting my results here. I failed 6 Subjects during mid terms though. for moral essays, I got 3/10 and 10/10. Basically. I messed up my second nilai for the first essay. So embarrassed of my results..

To get above 40, you'll need to demonstrate English proficiency similar to Americans, British or Singaporeans. It's close to impossible, unless you did what I said or come out with something extremely impressive.

Thanks for your advice. I've always been deprived of ideas when writing the continuous essays. Same thing don't happen when I am about to write Chinese essays. I've skimmed through my friend's essay which gets 49 out of 50 and I found it was interesting yet impressive, although it is not lengthy but his points are strong and clear. And the most important is, he has only a little grammatical error.

He told me he used to read novels since young. I really have no idea how to improve my essay. I'm feeling of posting it here, is it okay everyone? Fyi, I just got 37 out of 50 which is a C-graded essay.

What kind of essays do you guys usually write? Argumentative and factual one?

There is no clear-cut rule as to whether which activities or experiments will appear in either section . Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia comes up with questions not based on reference books , but their own question bank . I will list out some important experiments here next time , but for now , all I can tell you is that you should read all the experiments that came out in trial papers . Trust me .
