I'd like a solution too. These few weeks the rain is proving too much for me and the alcohol solution only lasts a rain or two before requiring reapplication. I'm curious though, will Rain-X beads eggs thrown by those carjackers?
its normal..i spoil 2-3set of wiper before..but i discover that nd to apply it under hot sun, let it fully dry (around 1 hour) then only put back your wiper in its ori position.
so far no more jerking n it work fine..i aply once a month now.
last time iat the mines book fair saw a taiwan man demo a coating for windscreen..wow.the water repellent effect so good, but duno will damage wiper o not.

have you try before really the eggs thrown by those carjackers will blur your windscreen??
i test it myself and no blur wo...bflush a lot water la..gt a bit dirt but wont fully blur until cant see the road.. i more worry those carjacker pour oil on road..

I using silicone. Bought from my friends and using for atleast 6 months++. My car is 1 year and wiper no change yet. Have use this for my old ride too.

Of coz u can wrap it. Looks for shop that do leater wrapping service for car cushion.
